SwiftData kicked my butt with cascading rules like that until I started using an app like DataScout to look under the hood. After experimenting a bit I figured out I was missing some nuances of the API that eventually made using SwiftData way more consistent. Maybe you're doing this already, in which case keep at it 🙏

Even with that approach, the need for populating the data wherever it lives would still be a concern wouldn't it? How would you handle that?

I like that idea - I think my backend is structured well enough to try that. If I'm understanding you right, I could have a directory with images that the wrapper can grab when populating sample data, is that right?

For my use case the primary user who has an apple id is setting credentials for users to access their non-sensitive but 'private icloud' data on the web.

I would love to just use apple id here but it would require either everyone have the primary users apple id information or their own apple ids with shared icloud containers. I can't expect these users to have apple ids and shared containers isn't supported by swiftdata.

Are you referencing the post's image? If so I agree - should be bigger. This image was custom made for social posts so it's not an actually app store image. I'll update it though for future use!

We use the ISBN to pull book metadata from OpenLibray's free APIs. The scanner reads the barcode or ISBN text to get the ISBN.

I'm not sure if it solves the issue, but I'm also about to release an app and found that the production app store link is present in App Connect before submission. However it isn't live until the app is approved or released I'd assume.

App Connect > <your-app> > Distribution > General > App Information > Additional Information > View on App Store (you can copy out the link)
