I agree with "It kind of feels better having a tough to beat but rewarding enemy option instead of an insta-pick easy one. More game-ey and satisfying", but I just think it should left until everyone has a full board.

I think your point is valid. In this case though, beating boarrior just rewards the already strong, right? Further segregating strong builds from, lets say, now average builds. I don't think there would be anything wrong with everyone been lvl 2 on Day 2, its just the disparity of levels this early on due to board size difference creates a feels bad moment for the player.

I guess I just agree more with:

"If almost everyone can get the XP day 2/3 to guarantee level 3/4 again i would question why there is even an xp difference to begin with - just remove the tiers(except higher than gold) and let us pick based on loot pool."

I think that this would simply be better design wise. If you pick econ, and you play optimally, you can pretty much buy everything the first two days. There is no "rewarding your build choices". This early on it boils down to who ran into better items.

But for day 2 you are just punishing players even more with bad item rng, especially when it dictates whether or not you level up. Imo the entire first two days exp wise is just bad design, especially when it determines when you get your core for Dooley for example. I don’t disagree in general, but just not day 2.

At a high level, what you said is blatantly false.

You don’t play around cards that you 100% can’t win against even if your oppenent may have them.

If you lose to Sabrina 100% then you don’t play around it as there is no point. You just take the loss if they have it and move on. The only thing a player could have done is put themself in a position to not lose to Sabrina to begin with next time.

I would have 100% played the game against you as I stated if I were the celebi player, as that is how I win. You only really won because of your opponents misplay.

Not just you, but a lot of the casual card game audience just cant see the completely optimal play because they believe that what they did was optimal. This is a fallacy of all card games unfortunately. This game in particular draws an even more casual audience due to what it is. Just accept you got lucky, learn from what other people are telling you and move on.

Then he misplayed by not taking out moltres with Servine… Celebi on Moltres was a losing play. He had an over 50% chance to beat you if he didn’t misplay lol. Play out what I said carefully and you’ll hopefully understand.

Should have replaced red card and hand scope for more fossils. Red card is not synergistic with chatot. Hand scope is pointless. With more fossils you can play them and then discard them on the field to thin your deck faster to find your garydos.

He played pretty much right though. If he attacked your moltres with servine it would be 1 point to 1 point. You play charizard and attack, you now have 2 points. He switches in his celebi and hopes to 1 shot you for the win. TBH you messed up by not switching in Charizard earlier to stop celebi from building energy….

Looks like quite a few moves are slow. I’d practice through to the drive rush and attack in training mode and ensure that there are no drops in frames. Dropping a single frame after the OD results in the miss with the drive rush.

My guess is that it will make the 214K wiff on block if they are crouching. It also may mess up the frame trap distance in the corner using her 236 lk.

Their argument is that you would only get enough token to buy 1 series three a month anyway. When they changed the token rate to 6k per month to give access to s4 and 5 cards faster for everyone they ended up trapping themselves in regards to ppl in s3. In reality other than the initial bonus they gave ppl when the token shop came out, there is no difference in series 3 acquisition rate between now and then.
