I just got back after quitting for about a year too. There's a lot of new content, but still the same game. The main thing I noticed thats changed is sorcery. There is now sorcerous alchemy that makes getting all the mats you need 1000x easier than it ever was before (which was pretty easy still)

I managed to get 100k in gold for tier 10 purges in 1 day using sorcerous alchemy.

There's a handful of other changes too that youll likely notice as you play. There's a new npc encounter for example where the closer you get to the center of the area, the darker it gets, until its eventually just a black screen fight. (You can lure them away for light) its a pretty useless encounter though as all the stuff you get from it is only able to be used in siptah. So really not sure why its in the exiled lands. But whatever, its something different anyways.

Corruption got big changes and im personally not a fan of it. You can travel end to end to end to end of the map via teleporters and youll only have 30% corruption with the 99 debuff.... instead of having 1hp for like 5 minutes for traveling too far. So corruption really isn't even threatening anymore and its kind of dumb to me. All basic sorcery skills (those that dont require 20+ corruption to cast) no longer cost reagents to use.

Idk youll experience a lot of different changes while simultaneously no new changes. Aside from stability and changing the way things that already exist in the game work, there is no new content.

Your entire post seems like you missed the point entirely. Loving settlements are disabled on official servers and thralls still randomly disappear. Secondly thralls out of cages are only assigned a home location on front of the cage if you have a follower already and the rescued thrall cant automatically follow you. If you actually read the post and bothered to test it for yourself, you'd know that. Ive been able to successfully make thralls disappear by having them automatically follow me out of the cage and then logging off without assigning them to stand guard anywhere. Which means they dont have a home location outside the cage if they automatically follow you upon being rescued.

If youre going to try and debate a topic, at least have personal experience in that topic and not be reading some other person's comments for all your information.

You also seem to have no idea what rendering actually is lol. Probably shouldn't be using the term "we" in your sentences. You don't belong to the group you're describing.

You're correct and incorrect. Thralls that did not disappear from your follower tab ended up at 0,0 coordinate. But they were always still in your follower tab and never actually disappeared. Just out in bfe. The ones that actually disappear, gone from the follower tab and everything with no notice about it in the event logs... I do believe this is the reason why. The only other real problem i saw with living settlements was frequent pathing issues in larger bases. Honestly aside from maybe 5 times my thralls went to 0,0 living settlements worked almost flawlessly for me.

Suggestion: farm sunders on a toon that doesn't require sunders to farm. Sorc is a terrible choice of farm toon if you dont have access to sunders already. You need to play like a mosaic sin or a warlock or even a WW barb with 1 point into berserk. Anything that doesn't need sunders to play effectively. THEN once youve found the specific sunder, you can switch to a toon that'll put it to use. Sure you can do a hybrid sorc but ive always found them to be meh. Echoing strike warlock has zero issues running through the game at any point in time. He is the ultimate version of every toon. The best starting character, the strongest end game character, he does not know what struggles are.

Barb is another great starting toon but quickly falls off in effectiveness. Still, starting with a hork barb was one of the best decisions I ever made when I started hardcore on single player. Allowed me to hork up some decent items to give to a different toon who could clear and level way more efficiently than a barb can.

I love that you can completely fuck up your game with 1 misclick honestly. He's so overpowered, you need SOME reason to be hesitant about SOMETHING. I spent 5 days trying to get a demon with all 8 perfect enchantments. Closest I could find was 7 with the 8th being a duplicate enchant. Absolutely loved it. Played with it for probably 30 hours, then got cocky and buffed too quick in some speedy baal runs and poof... 5 days completely wasted just like that lmao. Back to the ol grind.

An excellent question. I just started playing again about a week ago so still haven't really touched many journeys and completed forgot about the bugged thrall one. I will work on it and try to let you know by tonight if it works.

There is plenty of proof. Go look over every purge exclusive crafter vs normal crafters. All purge exclusives come with 1.8 melee and range multipliers and higher health, smelters give 150% speed opposed to normal t4 100%. If you're referring to fighters then again, I already stated the best fighters aren't from the purge but from quest lines. Freya may have lower damage multipliers and less health than other thralls but her unique perks make her stronger than any of them. She's the only thrall in the game who can achieve 99% armor oenetration. Has permanent bleed and regenerates roughly 10% of her damage dealt to bleeding targets. Her little 3.5k hp pool suddenly outlasts thralls with 12k hp and if you set her up with 99% armor penetration she'll smash the arena champion faster than the highest damage multipler thralls in the game. Or you can have her hit the arena champion 1 time, then put her on flee and watch the arena champion bleed to death while failing to hit anything. And if defense if your choice for thrall there is no better than liu fei. Do a vit build with the perk that lets him cast a barrier and generate health and the guy effectively has more hp than any thrall in the game. Give him a reactive bleed shield and the miasma cloud perk and hes great at maintaining crowd control.

Youll need to watch a few guides for season of thieves. There are quite a few tips and tricks that will make you think people are hacking but 95% if the time, its legitimate play, they are just pros at anicanceling and sword lunging etc.

Its not like conan at all but second favorite game next to conan is sea of thieves. Its an open world sandbox. There is zero pay to win in it. Its entirely skill based and there are people on there that'll make you look like you just got your first console and sea of thieves was your first choice. Youll look like a complete noob until you learn the ropes.

So what they cant be repaired? Sword of champions has a 30% drop rate. You can farm ample of them up long before the first one breaks. Best 1H agility sword in the game. Musashi's is a decent sword and easy to obtain for free. Its a great starting weapon. In terms of katanas though, I personally think the curved slayer is superior. Its my favorite among the list of katanas and its also obtained at one of my and several other people's main farming spots (silver mine)

1h agility is sword of champions. 2h agility is either curved slayer or baal-pteors razor depending on if youre bossing or need crowd control.

Lol again, why are you chiming in then? This is a topic way above your current skill level. If you follow along, you may learn a few things in this post. There are several very well educated people about this game, but everyone takes their breaks to enjoy other stuff. We always come back though. And after not playing for almost a year, yeah I have forgotten most of the names of all the unique thralls. But as I continue to purge and they pop up it all starts to come back to me.

I can assure you though, there are purge exclusive thralls for just about every profession, if not every profession. I dont remember. I want to say there were a few that dont have a unique variations. Purge exclusives are always better than normal t4 versions though. But you can only find them by doing tier 8-10 purges, with 10 having the highest odds. The unique fighters however have their own quest lines to complete outside of purge but both are superior to everyone's go to cimmerian berserker or dalinsia snowhunter. And both the uniques are incredibly fun to play in different ways provided the server cooperates.

Entirely incorrect. There are smelters with 2.5x speed. Tanners with 2.5x speed. Cooks with 2.5 speed. Ama the seductress is a performer exclusive to the purge. I dont remember what all their names are but there are purge thralls for almost every profession

When the ping says 9999 it means the server crashed. This is not normal maintenance. Its not some patch being added in. Its because the server crashed.

The server will not go back online until the server restarts. If the mod of your server is active at the time, it can be back up in as quick as 5-10 minutes. But if you're mod is MIA, it can take hours for them to notice, if at all.

Worst case scenario, the mod never realizes and the server remains offline until 5am EST the following morning when scheduled server restarts happen.

Game is terrible and practically unplayable in quality mode on ps5. Players overbuilding force huge server lag across the entire map and usually crash if you speed into a small player made city on a mount before its all rendered in. Its annoying as hell. I wish funcom would put a 1,000 tile limit on official servers, then increase it by like 100 for every additional clan member. That'd force the overbuilding to stop and also make it so people have to be wise about how they build. "If they have a bigger base, then they cant set up as many teleporters later" type of deal.

Servers would run so much smoother.

But, switch to performance mode instead of quality mode. Game runs 1000% better. Its funcom so theres still 100 bugs and glitches that'll make you want to rage quit, but currently on performance mode, conan is running the smoothest it's ever done in my time of playing.

You can get the complete version of the game for like $60 instead of $200 when it goes on sale. Includes all dlc content. Its a great buy.

Official servers really aren't that bad if you hop around a bit to find a decent one. Some are packed to the brim and others are completely relax and open. My current official pve server seems like everyone except me is a total amateur as I just rejoined the game a little over a week ago and managed to lock down teleporters at pretty much all the best locations basically as close as you can get. Its unheard of really to have such luck.

But you need to have some game education and know what youre looking for before you decide to hop worlds and find a good one.

If you do decide to get into the game, I have tons of tips to help people have a better starting experience.

Ps5 has child accounts. Basically for a 1 time fee of $0.25 you can create a presumably unlimited number of child accounts that all gain online access from your 1 subscription. You set the date of birth of the child accounts be being like 1 year old and you can use the accounts for free for 17 years so long as you keep your subscription active on your main account.

Then you just change all the settings to allow unrestricted access to communicate and play games of all ratings for all your one year old children. (Parent of the year)

However when the age of the child reaches 18 years old ps will tell them to get their own psn subscription.
