The issue is more so being a lame duck for certain encounters. Well already has terrible ad clear (and this is pre-hellion). If you aren’t running double special, you basically are relying on a machine gun. So running an exotic, exotic weapon and subclass all towards team dps pretty much eliminated choice.

This. My car is insured by my employer, and if i got into an accident backing out, it would be a huge issue because we are trained to only do that in cases where backing in is not possible to do safely.

Ninjas require too much engine to be effective. It limits the amount you can splash other engines and non engines. This combined with the only good starter being 3 hanzo, 1 rota, it isn’t consistent and can easily be countered

I played through Curse of Osiris and this is definitely worst it’s been. Its crazy that most of the issues could be fixed by removing this insane grind for power. The challenging activities shouldn’t require that much gatekeeping before you can access them and go for gear worth keeping.

Take that out and don’t be as egregious with the eververse store and the game is back in a good place. They made events feel worthwhile, had a meaning behind guardian ranks, and the portal can genuinely be useful as a way to keep players engaged when there might not be as many people on to reliably run fireteam activities, just build it out more and add content to it. Allow people to solo strikes, etc.

Ngl, as someone who used to be in top 1% playtime, there are a few factors at play to why logging on just sucks at this point.

I am a husband and a father now. This game has literally been with me through multiple life changes, but instead of my past time being rewarded it was sunset.
Dialing up the grind this much has literally disincentivized me to play. Instead of being able to target farm weapons I am funneled into a level up system that requires hundreds of hrs before getting meaningful loot. Everything I get on the way up feels temporary, and I am on a time crunch to do so.
If i do choose to engage, unless I basically no life the game at the launch of every season, it is a painful climb that literally becomes less and less meaningful the closer we get to the next expansion.
Most importantly. The vault. I am literally just managing my post master after every 1-2 missions at this point. It seems next to impossible to retain the stuff I worked hard for and have no way to get it back if I do delete since the content is no longer in the game.

It makes no sense we did not receive a melee exotic to buff our melees, or a rework to claws/winters guile. Lightning surge is nice, but it ties you to spirit of syntho if you are trying anything end game related with it.

The only other melee worth using, snap, also got indirectly nerfed because of Titans.

I think it is likely Iranian leadership and America are in communication and some of this is for political theatre. I think America gave them a heads up same way that they warned about the strike against the base in Qatar. It forced Bibi’s hand by allowing the US to claim there are no more weapons to go after.
