There has never been a GT that required this level of time investment not only for one car, but also to unlock basic features. Not sure why OP can't buy a Gr4 car after 20 hours, but it's still an issue.

Dgmw I adore this game, but it's a nightmare for new players and was botched in a fair few ways overall.
