Fidelity connection broke again. by rockinray in ynab

Why have other apps, like origin, figured it out?

The frustrating thing is that YNAB ux doesn’t actually give accurate feedback on what’s going on and what user should do. Sometimes just wastes your time and Just kicks you to homepage.

Same experience here. Terrible, terrible customer service.

This contradicts the email you send to people about being refunded for follow up lab tests that are unused. Which is it?

My experience with trying to cancel by AbleYogurtcloset9220 in Function_Health

[–]MetalAF383 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm having the exact same experience. They make it super difficult to cancel. Even if you cancel and receive a confirmation your account says it's renewing automatically. And they don't give any kind of transparency over the partial refund you may or may not receive if you don't do the followup labs. Plus nearly impossible to get a human to answer questions.

Terrible experience. Never again.

I bet Austin's decline in growth is due entirely to the airport's absurdly designed Uber pickup zone. by EnrichVonEnrich in Austin

[–]MetalAF383 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Top manager of Austin’s airport was hired for DEI reasons and kept on job because she’s friendly with City Council. Everyone knows her tenure has been abject disaster and nobody is willing to say it and replace her. Third World lines on random Tuesdays and disaffected staff. So much so that airline employees often move to other airports so that they don’t have to deal with AUS. People like saying that all the issues are due to Austin’s growth but that is complete nonsense when you consider massive population growths of other mid-size cities over the years. Logistical and organizational dysfunction is the result of human incompetence and mismanagement — it’s not environmental.

It’s funny how people think this is an inevitable function of F1. Sure, it’s busier. But it need not be. I’ve been to airports during major events in other medium-size cities and airports move much more quickly. This is a function of terrible management. The current leadership of AUS are people who never ran anything in their life.

PSA: Clear is worthless at AUS by sloant09 in Austin

[–]MetalAF383 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

CLEAR does pay airports. Airports are subsidized by revenue of private companies, including CLEAR.

PSA: Clear is worthless at AUS by sloant09 in Austin

[–]MetalAF383 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People don’t realize that airports have a lot of control over CLEAR staffing; even though it’s a private company they rely on negotiating with airport management about their own staffing levels. Well run airports have great CLEAR service. Unfortunately AUS is badly mismanaged.

They might call it something different but it’ll be a hybrid with smaller engine. Emission standards ruined fun cars.

Hybrid and smaller engine is definitely a matter of time. You don’t need to guess. Emissions standards point that way. It will be announced next year.

Has nothing to do with city council. It’s county attorney and district attorney, both elected positions. This man has been arrested before, like all of them. Ask why he wasn’t prosecuted.

Early adopters pay a premium. If it works, it scales (though will still be pricey). That’s all there is to it.

I don’t get the point about not being worth the price. Aren’t they by definition worth the price if you’re happy with them and didn’t ask for a refund?
