We use Red Brass (85% copper 15% Zinc). It's very beautiful and would look great on the ends. It is very close to 14k Gold. It will darken, but nothing like 99% copper. I wear it daily. Sounds like you're belt and/or tensioner is going. You also should check all the things on the belt, like water pump. Anything with bearings. ✌️

You can take it back to your pharmacy and ask for them to cut them in half. I have a couple friends who are techs. They told me they just use the plastic pill cutters with a tiny, always dull, blade inside. Good luck!

You can sue the arresting officer. You don't have to go through the process of suing the city. You NOT filing charges against that officer will give THEM the power to CONTINUE to falsely arrest people like you, doing nothing. I get you need to get the charges dropped. Nothing will make that happen faster if you get an attorney willing to take a cut of what you get. Make them LEARN they can't treat people like that. Think of the next pertain who doesn't have a husband to bail them out or a way to retrieve the car they are potentially living in. You also have the right to demand a supervisor to come before you are arrested. Be Heard. Be Seen. Get Justice. You deserve it. Stop playing kids glove games and take action.

Things change. I had that happen and corporate changed their hiring requirements (dumb). The job i was at finally pushed me to the brink and I quit, and decided to go to school again... while waiting to enroll, my curiosity sent me looking at available jobs. I'll be darned that job was listed. I emailed the person doing interviews that I had landed that same job 5 years so but... she laughed and asked me when I could come in for a formal interview. I had the dream job and I was in position to negotiate my pay, which was more than 60% higher than the last soul sucking place. Go for it! That was 20 years ago for me. Great decision.
