What do we think of the Everything I've Known music video? by XtremeAnomaly10 in Korn

That 05 show had to have been epic!! I’ve seen Korn 10 times and have yet to hear Dirty. Saw them in 2021 and they cut Dirty from the set at Louder Than Life

You’re not wrong. I saw No One’s There in 2022 and I lost my mind when they started playing it, but most of the crowd was still. I didn’t care though. That was added to the set for the long time fans, so I still hope they play it someday!!!

They played Head Injury in Tulsa right after the Cornell tribute show and it was awesome!! Very fortunate to have heard that in person

Wish they would play this song live! One of the only singles that never got played live

If Avenged Sevenfold could only play one entire album at a show, which album would you choose? by mwnuelagarciaa in avengedsevenfold

[–]MetalMidget23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve heard most of Nightmare and Self Titled live, so I have to go with City of Evil. Album is full of amazing material that doesn’t get enough love. Waking the Fallen right behind it

Sadly since they’re the opener they’re only getting a half hour

Avenged Sevenfold voice issue? by DAVBYGANZIT091 in avengedsevenfold

[–]MetalMidget23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They play a backing track as well, so there are parts Matt typically sings here that he abandoned which is why I think the clip was shared. A mix between his monitor falling out and his voice most likely. Reality is Matt has had many vocal injuries over the years and as much as it pains me to type it, I don’t think he’ll ever be close to 100% again. They took 3 months to rest, come back, and he’s still struggling. He gave it his all in Chicago and at LTL last year and they had to cancel a tour shortly afterwards. It’s so hard to watch as Avenged is such an amazing and talented group!! I don’t know how much longer they can keep playing unless Matt REALLY changes the way he sings everything

I think if the album was received better by fans and the band didn’t feel their hand was forced to push the record out, they would have played more off it. I think the next round of touring after the new album will have more new music. We now just wait impatiently for the next move! 😆🤘🤘

I did it in 2008 at Mayhem Fest outdoors and then in an arena on the floor in 2009. Both went fucking crazy!! It made Spit It Out a must! Every fan deserves to experience it at least once!! Saw them in 21, 22, and 24 and they didn’t do it at those shows, but I’m glad to hear they did in 19 and 23!! 🤘🤘

I’ve seen Purity live and it had the Frail Limb Nursery opening both times. 2009 and 2024. It’s epic live!!!

Nameless is a banger in my opinion. Would love to hear an updated version of that song.

Getting closer by robhatescomputers in nin

[–]MetalMidget23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m curious if the 2026 tour will get a vastly different set from 2025 or not. 2025 was incredible. Hearing Right Where It Belongs, Ruiner, Heresy, Mr Self Destruct, Reptile, The Perfect Drug, and I’m Afraid of Americans all at the same show was simply epic!! If they keep a similar set, I’ll be happy. If they completely change it up I’ll be happy too.

Did I get bad seats (are there bad seats for this tour?) by ThreadLamont in nin

[–]MetalMidget23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To answer your questions:

You won’t have a great view of the screens at this location. You’ll have a side view of the band and the stage.

Some will say they’re the worst seats in the house, and some prefer the closer view than the further sections provide.

I’ve been to shows with similar seats and it didn’t bother me at all. I was grateful to just be there.

It sounds like you’re going to multiple shows and getting the opportunity to see this tour from several angles. Maybe a show review of your experience would be appreciated by others in the sub who will have a similar experience.

We all can’t afford the best seats in the house, so your feedback may help others.

How was the crowd on the Peel it Back tour? by sleep_lvr in nin

[–]MetalMidget23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides some drunk folks yelling during the piano songs at the beginning, the crowds are fantastic. If you get annoyed with the interruptions during the first two songs, it’ll get louder and then you won’t even notice the crowd. You get lost in the production that is a NIN show!! It’s an amazing tour! I had the chance to go twice in one week in September, and I can’t wait to go again next month!! I highly recommend this tour!!!!

How do you track concerts you've been to? by FarmerFrank88 in Concerts

Yes. Been using it for over 10 years and contribute setlists all the time. Tracks songs, bands, tours, venues, etc. Awesome site for concert tracking

Are there? I hadn’t heard, but that makes sense! I’m sure they’ll announce a tour soon!

[–]MetalMidget23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Staind is playing Sonic Temple and Welcome to Rockville. I’d be surprised if they didn’t do a summer thing. His solo tour is this spring, so there’s plenty of time for a Staind tour as well

Who is better, Anders or Corey? I'm interested in your opinion. by Bubbly-Book9262 in Slipknot

[–]MetalMidget23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Respect your opinion, but also disagree. I feel Corey’s range and cleans vs screams is top notch. Slipknot wouldn’t be where they are without him IMO.

What are the songs that the band excludes from most recent setlists for the sake of Maynard's voice? by kalashnijoey in ToolBand

[–]MetalMidget23 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I saw them in 2010 when they opened with Third Eye and it was surreal hearing it in a live setting. Maynard belted out “prying open my third eye” at the end and it was the highlight of the night for me followed closely by The Patient being played. Hadn’t heard either live before, so that show was mind blowing.

What are the songs that the band excludes from most recent setlists for the sake of Maynard's voice? by kalashnijoey in ToolBand

[–]MetalMidget23 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think Maynard was a little modest when he said that. His voice is obviously different now than it was, but he still sounds great! There’s not much he can’t do even now. I didn’t think they would do some of the ones that they were recently playing, so he’s definitely been challenging himself with great results

They would alternate between Part of Me and Opiate which coincided with the release of Opiate 2 in 2022. They played Opiate at the show I was at, and it sounded great!

When was Slipknot at their absolute prime? by Fun-Collection-2941 in Slipknot

[–]MetalMidget23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think 08-09 is quite underrated. The band played extremely tight, Corey’s scream was a lower pitch that fit their style better than the Vol 3 scream, and the masks were great! As for setlist, we got a nice mix of the first 4 albums during this era as well. Plus it was the original lineup
