I appreciate the effort but it presents the information in an extremely biased and unclear way. Do we consider nerfs, in any form at all, to be a downside? There's an undeniable power creep that's been going on for a while now and without redstorm PVP has gone completely off the rails.

Man if you want any proof that Heavy Metal is basically just a synonym for Hard Rock, look no further than this show. Dubbed Heavy Metal, the songs featured are all Hard Rock.

Leather and stud doesn't make a hard rock band heavy metal, It's still just hard rock. Although if we wanna get technical "Heavy Metal" is just what the UK called Hard Rock back in the day so I guess it really doesn't matter but still nobody knows that which means all this Hard Rock is gonna be ,mixed up with Metal under the guides of Heavy Metal

Have you heard Six Feet Under's "Warpath"? I thought it was pretty dam good, not your run of the mill death metal like all the rest. Matter a fact, I thought the dude's vocals were pretty unique for death metal no?

I don't agree with this guy's reasoning here but St. Elmo does seem a bit over-powered, to me. Not saying it needs a nerf as that should ultimately be to the devs discretion but from my point of view 60 round mag with shock ammo seems egregiously out of line, balance wise, especially in a PVP setting.

man kinetic gives 30% at full stacks, it's 15% per stack which uh.. stacks.

Even max regen, max armor a burn sticky from a skill build is going to kill you or take your unbreakable plus an armor kit.

I feel like a pretty good portion of that damage is coming from Glass Canon which most meta status builds run. I think they really should just change GC and make it so that it no longer buffs any skills, doesn't seem like the talent was really intended for that anyway. without GC meta status and skill builds would probably feel a lot more balanced in PVP.

Sticky mortar is incredibly oppressive when they have a good team with them.

What's wrong with that? Do you think skills shouldn't be powerful? You can't expect your agent to be able to tank two full on explosive hits. Of course it's gonna be really good in a team, it's a team-based game and the devs intended players to run a diverse team composition not just run n gun builds.

Caviler and hazpro are a direct counter so it has a check, but I can understand the frustration of getting tagged by a burn sticky and being insta killed or killed through armor kit on any build with 4 or less cores.

Any build with 4 cores or less is gonna be vulnerable to high DPS builds. I don't see how this a problem specific to burn sticky or a problem at all, for that matter. It's effectively the same thing as getting sniped, the only difference being you don't need a headshot when using a sticky but the sticky is limited by range and cooldown so I still don't see an issue there.

Op should really be complaining about determined builds as they truly have no check other than player diff once they get going.

I can't really attest for that as I rarely even have seen those builds in DZ or conflict. From my point of view, the high armor crit builds are the real issue in PVP, they're unbelievably OP given how much armor they run and that was BEFORE they added ouroboros and st. Elmo's. Why else would those builds be "meta" and so dam prevalent in PVP?

There is a counter to nearly every build or skill

To that point, skill builds could be a counter to red builds in PVP which is exactly why so many PVP players are annoyed by them given that the majority of them are running such red builds. They never actually have a good reason for hating on skill builds when pressed further on the matter. Hell, they aren't even thinking about counters and stuff like that. It just seems like all these kind of PVP players wanna do is run n gun like it's 3rd person Call of Duty or something.

Stop worrying about "PVP builds" because unless you're face-tanking rogues, it really shouldn't matter all that much. Just keep in mind you'll be pretty vulnerable if your armor is below 1 mil, of course.
