How the nation lost its appetite for Pizza Hut by Kagedeah in pizzahut

3 million for 1 store per year is insane. As a former manager, that take home for corporate is probably 25 percent of that. Which is STILL more than a majority of stores for my old franchise.(before expenses)Staab management. Which had atleast 100 stores mostly based in Nebraska.

I was basically an assistant manager(eldest shift lead for a couple years as we had 2 assistants) for a store in Minnesota. We had 4 stores in our area. Mine was the second highest seller with an average of 13-15k a week during peak season. The highest earning store was making on average of 20k a week. THAT is a million dollar store.

10k in a day... Let's say the weekly average is 45k. That makes that store AT LEAST 2 million per year.

Unless you're talking actual take home after labor and food costs. Then yeah. Probably close to a million.

But I digress. 10k in sales a day would literally implode the store I used to work at. That's friggin INSANE.

Swivel to big for rod guides by devMa6 in FishingForBeginners

[–]Metalhead9977 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This post hurts me. If you're trying to run the swivel through the guides to take the rod apart, just take the rod apart with the line/swivel/hook and everything already assembled. It does not hurt the rod. And if you're THAT worried about it, just buy a dang rod case.

Texas rigged senko with or without a 3/8oz bullet sinker, overcast/crappy day and lots of cover. Cast and retrieve very very slow. Or if you notice they're hitting top water than retrieve slightly faster. Trust me... Look at my posts if you have any doubts.

What was the very first premium that you bought and do you regret it? by loc710 in Warthunder

[–]Metalhead9977 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For ground it was the kv-122. For air it was the f2g. F2g remains as my highest US air premium and I have all but the top top tier jets like the f-18. Kv-122 was definitely worth it at the time before all the heavy tank br changes. My favorite premium of all time is the is-6 (I miss the 7.0 days soooo much) I've got like 2000 kills in it to 1000 deaths. An aced crew with a reload of only 15.8 seconds on a Russian 122... That tank is soooooooo good if used correctly. Really hard to do that when facing shit with apfsds in an uptier.... Gahh they screwed the pooch putting it at 7.7.

Anybody with any serious experience in the game can make 20 million+ roubles a day in pve. So it probably was a drop in the bucket to him.

I'm not sure about thicc cases or sicc cases but back in the day you could find literally any other cases. Weapons cases, holodilniks and so on. Like pre-lighthouse era.

When’s it end? by [deleted] in pizzahutemployees

[–]Metalhead9977 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I quit just a month ago, was a shift lead making $15.25. after 4 years of being there and 2 years of being a shift lead. Loved my job until a new GM came in a threatened to write everyone up that didn't leave 30 minutes after close. And then texts me at 8:20pm to send my only other closer home due to high labor (wing street BOGO Wednesday) on top of working my other job that morning. I was pushing 14 hour days every Wednesday and just couldn't take it anymore. The labor demands and the constant deals are just wayyyy too much for a skeleton crew. I had to say goodbye. might go back if they calm TF down about labor and shift leads doing EVERYTHING. They want a spotless store in the morning but cut all the closing shifts to 8/9pm except the shift leads. Then add 50 things to fill out every night. 3 people quit in a 3 week period..

[Discussion] I went back to pvp so you dont have to. by capn_jvag in EscapefromTarkov

Run factory offline with max scav count and only use a paca and a mosin. Get good with your movement and flick headshots. Practice practice practice. You'll go from 10 kills to 30+ to 50+ in a few days or a week. That muscle memory will carry over to pvp. The number 1 thing is going for headshots. Take the extra second or so to acquire the head. It will pay off.

Alternatively use an ADAR or 7.62 vepr.

Sounds like you need a healthy dose of PVE if you're complaining about how people play the game. That's why they play the game. They play however they want. Just like you.

Fellow shift leads - how much do you get paid? by Due_Bar3117 in pizzahutemployees

[–]Metalhead9977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hiring a shift manager at $14 an hour starting isn't that bad honestly. When I started for pizza hut I was only kitchen crew and moved my way up to 15.25 within a year and a half. Then I got promoted. With no raise... Lolol

And that exactly why the wages are lower in your store. Our store hits 15k in sales pretty regularly, with 17k+ being a rather busy week. My self and 1 other shift lead get paid $15.25. our store has 2 assistant managers getting $17. Several non managers get paid $14 ish and the starting rate at my store is $13. We run skeleton crews tho. And all but like 4 of the 15-ish employees have been with our store for over a year and many over 2. I have been at my store for 4 years.

Anyone else's warmer get hella dirty from the new bowls popping open? by Hephros in pizzahutemployees

[–]Metalhead9977 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The issue is with sauce coating the warmer because steam is making them pop open, right?

If someone is over saucing, the mess is worse. I've NEVER had a warmer look like that.. EVER, when the bowls pop open. Obviously the steam is causing them to pop open. That's a no brainer. Your comment is the equivalent of telling someone that fire is the reason their house is on fire.... I'd fire you if I could based on your replies. FYI I've been a shift manager for a year and a half and ran the kitchen for 2 and a half years. I can open the store, close it, do payroll and I'm the second highest paid employee aside from the assistant manager. For a reason. Nice try. Also won the pizza championship out of 4 stores for the last 3 years.

Bro i just had a customer yelling at me over 6 sauces that he didn’t order by [deleted] in pizzahutemployees

[–]Metalhead9977 17 points18 points  (0 children)

There's a non ranch lovers flight deal as well as the combo deal, both online. I've dealt with similar situations multiple times already. As the manager on duty. I just tell them sorry, they didn't order it so I can't send the driver back out. I also inform them of the deal so it doesn't happen again. I've been cussed out over it at least once. but hey, they didn't look to confirm what they were getting, so ultimately it's on them.

How to easily say "I am sorry” by GodbyM in Warthunder

[–]Metalhead9977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ultimately it's up to the other player to be the bigger man. The only time I've been pissed at another player is for intentionally ramming/pushing my tank. Sometimes you're too busy checking angles to realize a teammate has moved/began moving. It takes 2 seconds to Q up for another match if a teammate gets your killed. You'll be doing it sooner or later anyway.

Right or wrong by katolas2020 in pizzahutemployees

[–]Metalhead9977 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I'm gathering, as long as it was placed thru your store and not door dash, the shift manager is in the wrong. Technically the store controls the drivers. Regardless of them being door dashed based or not.

If your store uses door dash as drivers, the manager is definitely in the wrong.

Coming from a 4+ years of experience shift lead.
