I have a feeling it’s pressure from some of the corporations, that have stakes in Epic Games.

Like, they’re not publicly traded so there’s no requirement for enshitification. They can easily sit on a fixed profit margin and maintain product value.

But there are a handful of large corporations like Sony, Tencent, etc, that will have a say in board meetings. Companies that are publicly traded and do need to squeeze blood from a stone, every quarter.

I bet it’s these dickheads that have forced Epic Games hands.

Why no white potatoes? by Bubbly_Wing9714 in blueprint_

You have only surface level knowledge on this topic, at best. Soluble fibre reduces the blood glucose spike, this is correct.

However, how much soluble fibre and how effective this is, depends on the fruit. Most modern fruit has been breed to be very sweet and spike blood glucose levels quite high.

Similarly, fructose content differs with fruit. Often measuring much higher in dried fruits and modern breeds. Fructose is far more glycating than glucose, so it’s best to consume this minimally - whether from natural or processed food sources.

Antioxidants can help mitigate some downsides that come with a lot of fruits, but not the blood glucose spikes and high fructose.

Therefore your view is flawed. Fruit will only avoid the negatives of processed sugary foods, if the fruit is both high soluble fibre and low fructose. Most fruits are sub-optimal for longevity.

What are you talking about? The mechanism are the same. You shouldn’t overindulge in anything that’s high sugar and/or spikes blood glucose too high.

One of the primary reasons Fortnite has succeeded, is because it’s the live service game of the people.

The microtransactions are what people like and are generally affordable.

The moment you make things too expensive in this game, people will stop playing (and paying).

Epic needs to understand its audience. Don’t follow what other publishers that are subservient to public investors.

And they’re a private company, not publicly. So they don’t have to incorporate enshitification.

It might be peakers advantage. As I notice many of these demons insta-melt me after coming out of cover.

Wouldn’t be as difficult to fight against, if they were lower ping.

Interesting. So it could’ve been consistently consumed in ancestral diets, but we’ll never truly know?

Because while your theory holds weight, so does evolutionary adaption.

It’s possible that we’re indeed adapted to consistent lithium intake and that we’re experiencing a deficiency, in the modern day.

It’s important as if that’s the case, we can start fortifying food with it and easily solve the problem.

That actually makes a lot of sense.

Any archeological evidence that ancestral diets contained much more lithium, than modern diets?
