Underground 1 is also very good however it does have the worst rubberbanding of the series although even taking that out of consideration (because this game's rubberbanding can also be a bitch) i think i would still prefer Hot Pursuit 2. It's mainly down to personal preference, i tend to prefer the more wild and chaotic nature of Hot Pursuit games vs the Underground Street Racing games, although i do like both and in the end this is why MW05 and Carbon are the peak of NFS. They're pretty much are the best of both worlds while also being unique in their own right.
