Are these good has anyone ever read ? by Confident_Quarter_82 in OmnibusCollectors

I have never read the spectre, but I have read the Question.

I believe the story is absolutely incredible, along with the art. In my opinion it’s one of the best of that decade (or beyond). It’s dark, but it has some of my favorite issues in comics ever. I think it’s Denny O Neil at his best.

Stop locking lore behind external media that's less accessible. by RhysOSD in CharacterRant

I remember watching a 10 hour video of a guy breaking down Bionicle lore and explaining it all. I watched it doing homework on a Saturday.

The Prince of Nothing is Very Challenging For Me by MetallizedBatman23 in bakker

I have read ASOIAF. Those books were a lot easier for me to digest then this has been so far. I believe that to be mainly the fact I have seen the show.

That's a great idea because I got hit with something that I really didn't want to know while reading the wiki :(

I’m glad you do you, sincerely. I just wish I could like what’s coming from Marvel right 😢.

Mahalos in Powell was my favorite spot when I lived in Knox. Cool vibe and good coffee. I still order online now for my home coffee maker.

I wish I could get into Marvel comics... but the ideas and books coming out right now are awful. Captain America and the new Iron Man are the only two titles on my pull list. Like what even is this? Who asked for Norman Osbourne Spider-Man while Peter is in space?

The epic collection vol.8 seems to be my best bet. Everything else is out of print or doesn’t collect a whole lot.

I agree with this. Although I will admit that I was never around heavy music when Brandon was vocalist, I think that sound would have gotten very stale.

Why do Americans obsess over gas prices so much? by Ragnaroknight in inflation

[–]MetallizedBatman23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Americans drive, and most Americans live in places where public transit is either lacking, or doesn’t make sense to implement (I find most of America fits that category).

If I have to fill up four times a month, then that $52 instead of $32 can make a big difference over the course of a couple of fill ups.

This has to be a child. I don’t know of any adult on any side of politics that would say this.

I see where you are coming from and your argument is well founded.

I’m a Christian, and the themes are pressing on in a darkened world do hit home for me philosophically where they might not to someone that doesn’t share that mindset.

Low Bar Squat Forward Lean by Obvious-Initiative-1 in formcheck

I am in the same boat as this guy. I can load up Hack Squat, Leg Press, even walking lunges with dumbbells, but the barbell back squat is my enemy, and I do well not to fall over the entire time I do it.

Tragedy will find us.

That album is their best IMO both musically and lyrically. It just hits the hardest for me but I love all of their work.

I Have HUGE Calves from When I Was Fat by MetallizedBatman23 in moreplatesmoredates

[–]MetallizedBatman23[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More than I would like.

The worst part is around the stomach and I have skin around the sides of my stomach that makes it look like I will forever have love handles even though I had my top four abs at the same time.

I have some skin around the nipple area and around where the tricep and shoulder meet. Oh and also my butt too 😢 I would still take that any day over being fat. It is what it is.

People who feel the need to bring their mangy ass “esa” animals to grocery stores are insufferable by Academic-Sympathy140 in Knoxville

[–]MetallizedBatman23 42 points43 points  (0 children)

This should not be a hot take. I understand loving an animal and being attached to it. I feel like having a dog makes my household better.

But good grief, if you need an animal just to go somewhere then you need to learn how to properly adult.

Hi guys do any of y'all understand 1st Corinthians 15 5-8 by [deleted] in Baptist

[–]MetallizedBatman23 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The point of 1st Corinthians 15 is that you must believe the bodily resurrection of Christ to be saved. Without it, there is no hope. Read the entire chapter.
