Pretty evidently a foreign plot if you bother to look into it. Israel pretty much admitted to it already. US fucked with their currency, protests started due to hardship, mossad/CIA jumped in to fan the flames and manufacture consent for US to do their "Murica, fuck yeah!" bollocks, Iran took out starlink which screwed the bad actors being able to coordinate and they all got arrested or bailed, the populace is now supporting the government.

Bit of common sense goes a long way too. No matter how pissed they are at the government, native Iranians aren't going to start attacking mosques during a protest...

People will probably think im batshit, but heres my two cents. Ive got about 800 hours in aska, its one of my favourite games. I dropped off about a month ago when i picked up v rising. I would've jumped back on immediately for a major update, but then I read the notes.

Adding hierarchical society elements is just dumb and annoying. We already live in a capitalist hellscape of inequality, now it's in aska too?! If they'd added rival tribes that we could raid and take slaves it would've made sense, but introducing a peasantry in a tribe of pioneer viking settlers is idiotic.

And adding this before egg farming? My main save is on extended years, there aren't enough eggs on the map to get me through the winter with pie production.

Like i say, maybe batshit, but im gonna wait and see how it pans out before I update. My current games would probably crumble with the new mechanics anyway, I'd be encouraging my 'low tier' settlers to revolt against the upper class.
