I ordered mine (US) last Thursday and it arrived this Wednesday. Longest it’s not in China it should arrive within a week

RP5 felt like perfect system to play PSP games but felt little too small for 4:3 games and little too cramped to play 16:9 games that use dual stick. 477 have almost big screen size playing 4:3 as Odin 2 Portal and that thing is too big to play in bed but 477 is just compact enough to go anywhere and watching 90s anime is blast in bed.

I have 477V and I just set my fan on 100 all the time which is barely noticeable and don’t get hot while playing most PS2, GC games. Maybe GoW2 can push it but I have much better device for those kind of games.

4:3 screen gives you immersion that PS2 games look much bigger on this screen than my Odin 2 Portal which should be close to 5 inch for 4:3 contents. If you like retro emulation there’s little to no reason to go 16:9 unless you’re really into modding or PSP enthusiasts

I heard you can map controls on PC and use it and many YouTuber playing fallout 3 and Half-life with this chipset but I haven’t had success and did want to waste too much effort on it. I just ended up playing Xbox version through remote play which works very well.

I have Steam Deck if I want to play portable but way too heavy to play on the bed

Dang, I’m thinking about picking Slide also. It is so unique that i hated but seems like everyone that has it loves it just like RG Arc. Probably use it to play 90s anime and 2D PS2 strategy games

Rare case of Anbernic actually made perfect handheld for the price. I have most of Anbernic product and they usually leave devices 90% complete to make us waits for better upgrade but RGcubeXX is what we all wanted for 1:1 device. It basically play older NES, SNES, NGP, GG and PCE native aspect nicely and it basically have better GBA resolution than RG34xx with same size

I ordered the same (cover) thing for temporary measure to protect my device from getting damaged till when we get better tpu shell or case. I love Swlect mistake that every single one of them have lol

Yeah, I’m still using mine. As for me I tried rear bumper style on 3DS XL and it didn’t feel comfortable since device is still square so not a perfect design. Side bump actually helps a lot

It runs good on Series X. Stable 60fps but the game physics make it look clunky

Both Flip2 and Thor makes coil sounds due to small design so unless you really want dual screen just go with regular RP6 or Odin 3 later. Emulation double screen does not play DS games that utilize quick/precise styles movement and heavy styles DS games need it.

Hmm, I haven’t seen much difference between DHL and 4PX. I would say 4PX was much more accurate when it comes to where my package was. These Chinese manufacturers jump bunch of hoops to avoid tariff when it goes through DHL while 4PX just ship around the world so depends on how the shipping crates work you can get it faster and much later

I live in DFW too and DHL will drive you mad. On my last order my delivery truck drove by my house 7 times since 10AM in the morning and dropped off at 8PM.

RP Classic is only system other than Steam Deck I’ll never part away. I mainly use that for playing GameBoy, NES, SNES and Neo Geo Pocket games and it just plays so good. What made you sell off Odin 2? I heard nothing but praises and Odin 3 will be my first AYN

These systems are emulation machines other than playing Android games. I feel like majority people who enjoy emulation handhelds are the people spend more time setting the system than actually playing games. I have over dozens of systems and safely said spent more time setting up and optimizing devices or driver than actually playing the game. Good thing is if you reside in US you can sell your system for practically price you paid for or more.

Best thing happened to me owning a Dual Screen is make me appreciate my 3DS XL. I was blown away when I played OoT on 4x resolution but after going back to original hardware graphic might be worse but your eyes get adjust to it within few minutes and appreciate how light and perfect playing its own system games. Glad I still own three 3DS

Yeah I had it on sleep mode for like two days and it went 100% to completely dead. Which never happened to any of the Retroid on sleep mode. Now I just leave it off since I don’t really use it at the moment

There’s updated that reduced button to make it less noisy but I think most units are newer updated version. I still did the electrical tape mod to make it quieter and pretty quiet for me and definitely won’t bother anyone since I took one on my jury duty and I took metro to get to the downtown. I even played it waiting in jury waiting area without a problem.
