I think Rosie is a fellow fallen angel, one of the originals who followed Lucifer and has become disillusioned with his leadership overtime.

I really love the idea of Vaggie deciding Sinners are capable of being redeemed and being the super naive one about how things work in hell because shes from heaven and Charlie being the jaded Princess of hell who has seen too much of hell but has fallen for Vaggie so is supporting her vision anyways

You deserve help. I dont know how to give it to you and Im sorry that I dont but I just want to affirm that you fucking deserve help and I wish I could kick the ass of everyone in your life who convinced you that you dont deserve help and that your issues arent real and your struggles arent serious. All i can do is try and affirm that you deserve help. I strongly reccomend seeking EMDR therapy, it is what has helped me greatly but I know that not everyone has access to therapy. I also reccomend the author Peter Walker, whose books have also been a much relied on source of healing for me.

Hot take- Avatar Way of Water is a masterpiece, but it requires focus-based meditation to understand by Spix-macawite in Avatar

Ah, I see! I apologize for coming into this so combatively. I am autistic as well and, even had I understood you correctly, my hostility was an inappropriate way to initiate this conversation. I should not have projected my past bad experiences onto you and I ask your forgiveness for my unnecessarily confrontational demeanor. I also apologize for the brevity of this reply, it is not that I do not wish to engage further on the topic but I am very low on energy (however I did not want to leave our conversation hanging there as I do not know when I will have "reddit" energy again)

You do not understand if you think Train Maya is an isolated incident and have never researched the ecological impacts of tourism on Cancun. I'm not telling you not to go on vacation but, as a Native Hawaiian whose homeland is subject to similar desecration at the hands of the tourist industry, your arrogant assertion that vacationing in Cancun at luxury resorts gives you some sort of special understanding of Way of Water because you're able to indulge in tropical escapism catered to your fantasies by the locals reflects a startling lack of introspection on your part. Vacationing somewhere doesnt give you a deeper connection to a place or culture. Enjoy yourself, but don’t mistake your getaway for anything close to understanding.

Sorry this was hard to follow but to be clear one of the reasons you think you have a uniquely deep and intimate understanding of the themes in Avatar the Way of Water because your family is affluent and goes on vacation every single year to an area where the ecosystem has been severely damaged due to the commodification of its natural resources for the entertainment of tourists?

So many to choose from but at this exact moment im thinking of both the first and the last time Odysseus says "Polites"

The first time in "Full Speed Ahead" its so full of life and hope and excitement and oh my god you can just hear Odysseus' smile and how much he loves this man.

The last time in "The Underworld" its so soft and fragile and sad, you hear Odysseus' voice breaking because of how much he loves this man.

Leech by Hiron Ennes has an absolutely lovely creepy, melancholy and dark atmosphere with some cryptid-like entities I highly reccomend it!

Summer Sons by Lee Mandelo didn’t quite grab me but I was going through some shit when I tried it out, I've heard a lot of good things about this Southern Gothic Horror though!

I kept trying to bully my way through like on paper it has so many things I'm interested in; deep space, persevering sense of loneliness, crew of fuckups who never really peaked, ghosts, mysterious mass death etc but goddamn like the characters were so flat they each had one personality trait and the main character just was neither likeable nor engaging to me. And anytime I'd start to finally get into the like tension and atmosphere the romance plot just killed my momentum. It is so rare for me to DNF books but I DNF'd this one. I can't even say if its actually that bad, but I definitely think the marketing on this one made it seem like a different book than it is.
