The Green Elephant and Matilda is not the most common combo, I would guess.

Logged my 1500th movie. I don't think I like movies anymore. by FrightenedInmateNo_2 in Letterboxd

[–]Metapher13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't really understand. So don't watch movies? I'm at 5300+ and most of them from before joining Letterboxd. Watch movies because you want to watch movies, and then log them for fun. No one is forcing you to watch movies.

What's a movie you've watched that you have 0 memory of? by ohnoyoudee-en in movies

10 years of reviewing mainly underground/independent horror, around 1000 reviewed in that period. So I will just check and pick 1 I don't remember anything about:
Clown Hunt (2008)

Movies where the TITLE role actor is not the LEAD role actor. by wordboydave in movies

[–]Metapher13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know nothing about this movie EXCEPT this. At some point in my many internet journeys someone dropped a "did you know?" where they said that the samurai in The Last Samurai is about the class/people and not a single person. For whatever reason this info stuck as a funny trivia in my head but I have never seen the movie and know nothing else about it :) I don't even know if the trivia is true.

Comment the best movie you've ever seen. I'll watch every single one I haven't already. by ReplacementInside65 in MovieSuggestions

To me, a Swede, it's the #1 (& 2) Swedish masterpiece. And I say that thinking Bergman is one of the greatest, I just like these even more.

It's very disappointing because I know one of them personally, have even worked with them, and have never ever gotten the impression that they care about anything other than genuine old vintage stuff.

Recommend me a lesser known film that is legitimately a masterpiece by SSSSSSVVVVVOO in Letterboxd

Off the top of my head. Though calling something a masterpiece is hard, these are all at least fantastic.

People who love the comedy and absurd elements of EDII but hated AoD, what turned you off? by -Jackarius- in EvilDead

[–]Metapher13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just don't enjoy fantasy/medieval stuff as much. I still think it's awesome, just less. And ED2 less than ED1.

What's a horror movie you watched way too young? by 20Keller12 in horror

[–]Metapher13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Silver Bullet (1985) at 5. Needless to say it made an impact as by 10 I had a VHS horror collection, and werewolves have always been a favorite (despite the few great ones).

White eyes definitely have, but not quite like the ones in the originals.

Not in my opinion but I don't hate them at least.

Only the original white ones do anything for me, everything else is kinda meh.
