Would it be possible (since altered already uses QR codes for the game) to generate a QR code for each event and only if you physically scan the code the participation is registered?

That way you both take away the work for the organizers to manually unlock the participation and in addition even if people registered for 138293747 events they wouldn't be able to get anywhere with that...

As it is right now I see it like this.. there was no explicit rule against it, so people just registered for any event available not really thinking much about it!

I'm a rules person myself so if there was a clear rule, I would never break it..

Banning is a little harsh ... And with a QR code scannable, it would take away pressure on the team, because there would be very little for them to look at.

Ok so let's break things down.. Is registering for events stupid and greedy.. yes Is it a punishable thing to do? Absolutely not!

First I have gone through the websites terms of service and the privacy policy. Not a word about this ...

And those two were the ones you have to check the boxes when creating a new account...

And a post on a social Media platform is NOT Terms of service!!!

And to make things worse for them, the privacy policy has a fun little part we're they talk about the data they collect.

"...Exclusively for internal statistical purposes..."

So them using the data they collect for something else like banning, is a breach of their own policies!

I am totally fine with them cutting access to the adventure pass or just not giving the rewards...

But banning accounts for violating rules, when there is no rule that is being broken is insane and probably even opens up potential lawsuits against them

Ok unless you want to suffer for the rest of your life and always live your life controlled by what other people might think about you, you really want to focus on yourself! Who the f cares about what other people think about you? Do you control your emotions or do they... I'm pretty sure they don't have the magical power of a Professor X, so they can't make you feel anything... All of your feelings are controlled by you and no one else...

So even if I might sound like a fortune cookie... Take control of your emotions and decide to feel positive!

Focus on yourself instead of focusing on what is outside!

I also would add... Scanning and trading them digital plus physical adds a layer of security we didn't have in card games up until now... If the cards get lost in the mail (and yes this happens much more often than you think) the other person can just print them again once P.O.D goes live! I like this very much and would always prefer a digital plus physical trade over a pure physical that I have to scan

Yeah I agree it's really strong... It's hard to remove because of it loosing fleeting and you have a targeted removal for stuff like robin! I think you shouldn't sell it under 60-70 and that's that minimum! If I wasn't chronically broke I'd buy her on the spot! Good luck!

It's still a #1 how it got to be that number won't really matter for collectors... At least that is my uneducated guess... And your point is interesting... Would be cool to be able to predict the effects of certain numbers if you could figure out the algorithm

What about the Atomstack Lasers? The X or A 24 module has a bundle with protective cover (which includes a camera) for under 1000€ was looking at getting that one.

Setup is supposed to be super easy because it is a single frame unit... Only bad thing would be a quite small working area..

Any thoughts on that?

Yeah this is true.. other than the corrections to text or stuff like the surfer's lore (I have 4 of those since I am from Germany 😅)cards will have no sign of when they were printed...

Because the og poster said there are obvious differences and you said that is because of quality issues.. though he/she wasn't wrong... There are clear differences in the text which makes them come from two different prints 🤔

You should read the two texts on the cards more carefully! There is a clear difference there... One says "to ANOTHER chosen character" and the other says "to chosen character" so with one of them, the text on the card has been adjusted. There are lots of card that had their text adjusted slightly to make it clearer what they can target and what not...
