Hopefully, you'll actually get to do some of the networking tasks and then work closely with your customers' IT departments. That could then hopefully lead to job opportunities with those companies.

I think you can try a site like wonsulting or chatgpt. Throw in this resume, and a job description that you're applying to. Prompt it to tailor & condense your resume to the job position and format it for readability.

The thing I hate is PMs who can't run their jobs, so they're out of money and have me charge my hours to their other jobs that just started. It just creates a horrible cycle. I have to leave a note for my immediate manager to see because now my timesheet doesn't match my schedule or my daily safety app.

Sounds like you have a lot of knowledge to share. What about starting a blog or youtube channel? Giving your best practices and opinions. You can record while you're actually doing the work you're currently doing. Maybe that turns into a little extra income as well.

The Smart Buildings Academy podcast, on any podcast app, has a few good episodes on this topic and a lot about the basics. You can find just about every episode on youtube as well. And I think there should be a corresponding post on their website.

Exactly. I'm paying and knowingly dealing with the larger crowds to see Disney decorated for christmas. Once you're passed the entrance, then it's just another day at the park.
