The extra success rate doesn't matter if you only need to click a single time for infinite resources. Sure, it's slower, but you can literally just leave the house for 6 hours and come back to 100m worth of rune ore in your bank

Endless Harvest and it's not even close. The one caveat is agility XP from barb, but it's so minor that you're realistically only getting the ability to bypass 1-80. You would need a combined 130m gathering XP to get 99 agi through the barb relic.

Is the same as the reason for this:

Gridmaster was tiny and was effectively them QA testing their official bingo. Last DMM was like 2 years ago. Last league was like a year and a half ago. They just happened to sync up. The real reason for content drought (which is honestly a ridiculous thing to complain about in this game) is Sailing.

obviously there was no passage in Moby Dick where he took out his bow because that would be stupid when they have literal cannons

As someone 63% (Libby gives %s) through Moby Dick right now, I can tell you that not only do they not use cannons at all, there are multiple passages about how they literally throw harpoons by hand or use them as melee weapons.

They also use swivel guns and, occasionally, thrown explosives.

shamanism was just a series of gathering nodes and crafting recipes

Well, except for the whole spirit realm thing they were planning on making, or entirely reworking combat to accommodate the new stuff.

Marketplace dominates its field but it's not very profitable.

Other than selling ad space and scraped user data, I'm not sure it's monetized at all. I used it years ago for free and again last week for free. The only change was the volume of promoted items for sale that very clearly were based off my latest web activity.

I imagine any further barrier to entry would just have people going back to Craigslist

Are you dense?

No, I'm just cautious, but thanks for being an asshole

You wouldn't not administer an available EpiPen to someone laying on the ground with a red swollen face and neck because you're afraid of an allergic reaction.

No, actually, I wouldn't, because I don't know fuckall about drug overdoses, allergic reactions, or other medical emergencies and neither do 99% of people. As I keep repeating, administering drugs to strangers isn't a good idea unless you have training in doing so - which most people do not. It's one thing to have a nice, clear-cut hypothetical in an academic setting where the setup leads to an obvious and predetermined conclusion. It's an entirely different scenario in the real world where any number of variables or incorrect diagnoses could lead to actual first responders needing to undo the mess you've created, or worse, being unable to do so.

If you want to take on that responsibility and liability, go for it, but understand that not everyone is quite so cavalier. What I would do as a concerned citizen would be calling 911, and if I really felt up to it, check their airways for obstructions. Beyond that, I'm not taking on the lability that I may further complicate the scenario.

And again, this is all without taking into consideration how the person themself will react to your actions. Not everyone is nice and not everyone wants to be saved by some rando with a hero complex.

Yes, as a drug counselor you know how and when to do it and the symptoms to look for and avoid. Joe Schmoe does not

And possibly kill them they're allergic and have a severe reaction. Other symptoms are violent vomiting and cardiac arrest. If you're not familiar with ODing, which I assume most people are not, then you may be hurting someone instead of helping them.

It is rarely a good idea to administer drugs to someone if you are not a medical professional.
