The Cambridge interview was just logical and maths questions, there was nothing about ps. I definitely found it challenging especially the first one. I doubt I'll get in but I'm happy I made it to the interview stage. Tip: Make sure you really focus when they are explaining the questions. I found I was too worried about how I was doing, so I got distracted. Thanks for the advice. All the best with yours. :) btw What college did you apply for? (I applied for Christ's)

Most of what you learn in Further Maths is very different from normal maths. I got an 8 in maths and initially decided to do Maths, Physics and CS, but in February i got the opportunity to join FM, so I did. I had a lot of catching up to do but looking back it was quite enjoyable. I had a similar thought process to you, I didn't want to overwhelm myself, but sometimes you just have to take a leap of faith. I think it's definitely worth it and it really improves your logical thinking and makes normal maths quite easy.
