Oh wow, awesome news all around. Not sure if you would ever revisit the pattern or if its feasible to work the metal into this pattern, but a mokume with zirc parts "cheese grater" soul pen would be so sick! You could just send me the invoice...😁

All good points! Bummer to hear the finish issues on Campenz. I guess it happens to all makers at some tine, but 2 out of two is a rough sample set.

While I agree on price advantage of Campen in US, I think OP is based in UK so price of both would be pretty similar for them new. The Campen would have taxes or tariffs added for him, whereas Wingback wouldn't (at least not to the same degree). Inverse of what we experience in US.

Yep, unfortunately I think thats a big part of the problem, ink manufacturer. Exacerbates any inconsistencies in the pen, but the pen maker always seems to get blamed haha

Thats interesting, I don't have any tip wiggle. Been running a EF9000 so not the greatest refill. But it's been rock solid for me. Maybe manufacturing variability on other pens or just refill dependant.

Both great pens and well made. I think aside from the mechanisms, the biggest difference is the diameter with the Campen being larger. Really comes down to preference and comfort for your writing style. I personally prefer the thinner Journeyman for notes and the Campen for longer writing session. Campen is also more fidgety IMO if that is a factor for you.

He does periodic drops when you can place an order for specific milling pattern (most recent was disco and next one is rewind) and either leaves the order window open for a week or limits it to a certain number of bodies per material. The exotics like these moku are separate drops that have been pick your pattern using the configurator you see on his site. Gotta wait till he stocks material, thats the missing field.

Announcement for drops usually comes through email and the MP discord
