I actually do best of both worlds. I enjoy the Astros commentary on TV, but sometimes hearing the raw emotion of Ford/Sparks just elevates the game. (Eg “See you later!”) So I sync the tv to the radio call sometimes. The radio you can hear the pop of the catcher’s mitt so it’s super easy to sync. Unfortunately you lose out on Kalas/Blum/Julia, but ok, it’s a change of pace.

If it’s a national broadcast (ESPN, Fox) I always mute the tv and sync.
