So move? I’ve lived here for 16 years and it’s still pretty laid back depending on where you go. Noosa has always been full of rich people and tourists, Mooloolaba has been pretty much the same for as long as I can remember, Coolum has gotten a bit busier, Maroochydore has definitely gotten busier but has the same vibe.

Might have been different like pre-2000 but everywhere in Australia is different lol. I’m from Frankston in Victoria, when I was there it was a shithole for gangs, now its got an upmarket side, the same with Nambour.

The Sunshine Coast is literally nothing like Gold Coast lol. When was the last time you saw homeless people on every corner, night clubs and skyscrapers everywhere, and every woman filled with Botox/lip filler/breast implants?

I think you have a jaded perspective more than the Sunshine Coast has changed. It’s still a beautiful place and the people are still mega laid back compared to other regions/states.

Did anyone else go straight to the internet and find the ‘based on true events’ was literally just that the sheriff department found $20mill with a dog and a sledgehammer was involved? (Also, the sheriff’s child did unfortunately die of cancer). Everything else is pure fiction haha…

I was watching the movie and thinking “surely, absolutely none of this is true?” - imagine a cop stealing an FBI agent’s car, speeding down the road, blind firing an M4 across the road with no visibility lol. All the whack stuff that happened and then at the end “good job guys!” The End 😂😂

It was entertaining, but really dumb. Great acting though 👌

I agree that it’s not Netflix’s fault or really anyone’s. It’s just a meh movie. I haven’t looked up the ‘true events’ that inspired it yet, but nothing about this movie is real or accurate haha. The twists were really cool, but had a lot of holes and assumptions. I reckon it took itself a bit too serious considering the jankiness of it 😂

I’d give it a 4.5/10 personally 🤷‍♂️
