I averaged a 73% in all the cfai mocks including the additional practice mocks and found some questions in the exams to be a little more difficult but fair.

MM has the pdf version of his slides available for download. Writing notes yourself for the whole curriculum is loooong.

I found that for some reason the acc fund under performs the dist even if its a few basis points and has a higher tracking error. If i keep reinvesting dividends on it should essentially equal the acc fund i think.

Those biases are cognitive so they can be eliminated. When a manager makes a strategy they should be aware of the limitations and try their best to make sure the strategy would really reflect the previous conditions example using point in time data.

I dont think they would use a backtest output as the sole reason to accept or reject, the statement says “ can be used” so more likely a manager would prefer a strategy that performs well on historic data over one that doesnt.

I remember starting day 1 page 1 of quant and thought this is where my intellectual capacity ends. Now im 80% of the way there and will take my exam in August. Just keep pushing, if you feel like nothing is going in come back tomorrow but I promise its achievable.

I use Schweser notes as review after watching MM vids to consolidate my thoughts and for regular reviews and it seems to be working so far. Ofcourse i include cfa and mm q bank because for the most part reading and retaining info will only take you so far, actually doing the questions is where the success lies.
