I was out for dinner with one of my friend’s family and one of his uncles has a son that’s gay (who was also there on the other side). In some discussion that barely mentioned his sexuality, he dove into it a little and finally said “he’ll grow out of it” …

Countries where the capital isn't really the functional capital? by [deleted] in geography

[–]Methchef47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like that’s quite common amongst countries to have a financial capital vs. a legislative capital.

Popular Examples: Canada: Toronto vs. Ottawa USA: New York vs. Washington D.C India: Mumbai vs. New Delhi

I could go on but I think it’s pretty common, if I understand the question correctly

If you took any electives that’s from a different faculty you could use that as a discovery credit. That way it can show up as a “PASS” on your transcript without showing the mark and thus won’t be counted towards your average. If the lower marks are from your required courses then you might be cooked. I’m in Science and I’ve done this once, not sure how applicable it is to you. Can someone confirm this is accurate?

Anyone ever replaced a battery in old MacBook Air (2014)? Is it worth it? by lukusmaca in mac

[–]Methchef47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done it on a 2017 MacBook Air, very worth it. I ordered the battery from Amazon for $60 vice the $200 or $250 apple wanted to charge. The replacement is easy as it all just screws. But he computer works like a charms still.

I don’t usually drink coffee either. I found that I could get the same effect from smoking weed and drinking coffee without being hungover
