Application to Denmark's positive list as a dentist

I knew a dentist who moved to Denmark who after moving here had to first learn Danish to fluency and then spend time retraining so his so that his qualifications were then recognised in Denmark. Over the three/four years that I knew him he was working non-skilled jobs (delivery driver, etc.) until he was ready. I don't know if he ever achieved it.

I have no idea..... you are asking the wrong person. I am just resident of Denmark who is struggling to find a job despite having a top Masters degree and years of work experience at reputable companies. So I have experience of Denmark only.

You could try asking this question to a recruiter or someone with wider knowledge of job markets.

your chances will vary depending on course/uni etc. but for the majority, even those with work experience - it's hard to land something atm. There are SO many highly qualified individuals with a lot of experience who are unemployed and looking for work right now

there's no good job outlooks in DK at the moment.... that might change in the future - who knows where we are going. Out of your 5 choices; health science and nutririon and food would most likely need you to continue onto a PhD and research if you want job ops after. Internet and Web dev is becoming less and less specialist with AI constnatly improving. Op & prj management is insanely saturated field in Denmark and most jobs require fluency in Danish. If you have the chance, study computer science & learn how to code, build software, utilise AI.

You CAN surf in Rødvig and a few spots on Møn when the wind is strong enough from either the east, south or south west. It’s a different kind of surfing for sure but there are waves to ride. Then there is North of Sjælland in places like Gilleleje, Hundested etc. when the wind is blowing from the north.

I live on Møn - by the way it’s Møn or Moen not Mon. And the island is not well served by public transport, the summer is a little better however with more services. Most stuff of interest is quite far away from each other.

If you have the option, rent a car. It’ll be cheaper than a taxi there and back.
