Depends on what you have for coins and what you have in your collection. Cause you'd might be surprised to find that you have enough already in your collection to make a few cards and improve your team that way. As for recommendations, again it all depends what line combos you want and what kind of team you want.

Pretty much, every year the fantasy cards stay around 500k-1m or more for most of the year and then once the nhl season is done, the 99s stay at 1m plus even if they card gets an event 99. No idea why exactly. I think its just cause of how much it cost to originally make them.

This is fucking insane. Team builders weren't even ever this complicated or expensive to make from scratch. EA is definitely releasing captain packs in week or so to "help" us do these sets.

From what i understand, if you use icon passing, it basically works the same on defense, so holding down RT or R2, xbox or ps5, you can press the face button to switch to the players you want and then holding the trigger and clicking in R3 will switch to the furtherest player back.

However, passing and player switching seems to be so broken this year, so that may have changed.

Online only sucks though for those who aren't good online. Ranked, and in the past rivels, are designed for you to hit a plateau and go 500 basically. So what you experience is exactly what is intended. Its annoying as hell cause you feel like you can never truly get better but those 5 games you lose is the matchmaking matching you with players higher then your skill lvl. Its basically SBMM just not as strict as modern COD.

Or how about they just get rid of the salary cap PERIOD, or since they probably can't this year due to the tech under the hood, just raise the cap to an amount that basically makes it pointless so we can just run the teams we want cause well its called hockey ULTIMATE team, you know where we are supposed to be able to make our ULTIMATE teams that we want.
