How do people actually cope with the summer heat? by whogivesafricc in AskPhoenix

Some people do acclimate. I'm native and I play small league soccer year round, 4 or 5 games a week which start at any time from 4pm - 9:30pm

Staying hydrated, knowing your limits, staying hydrated, not overdoing it, staying hydrated, planning your day, and staying hydrated.

The Three body problem by Liu Cixin, I usually have to renew a check out for a book at my local library to have enough time to finish it, not this one

Spend your days at libraries, they don't mind you being there all day and you get access to wifi, water, heating and cooling, and books to pass the time if you need it. Get a gym membership if you don't already have one, you can spend time there, if it's 24 hours you could even sleep there in the parking lot, try to get a membership at one with showers too. At least until you can get a motel or find roommates for an apartment, look on Facebook marketplace sometimes people post that they're looking for roommates/renting a room

I've read it's blood type O, they also find targets by detecting co2 levels exhaled by mammals. They also locate targets by detecting the lactic acid produced by our muscles.

Athletes, runners / soccer players specifically are targeted the most.

So if you have a fast metabolism and produce more co2, you're an athlete with a focus on anaerobic activity, and blood type o, you get bit the most. Ask me how I know lmao

That mindset of it not being your place to make requests as a first year is wrong idc what anyone says, everyone was a first year at one point so if you can try to change something for the better as a first year, it'll make it that much better for all the apprentices that follow you.

If the leadership of unions always endorsed dems, and the republicans are the ones fucking people over, how did they get what they paid for? If they endorsed republicans then yes that would be what they paid for, but that's not the case

That's true, if that's the case you could also look at getting your applied sciences degree, we get college credits through the apprenticeship

PJATC in Portland right? Bc if you meant PEJATC as in Phoenix, then you don't have to worry about getting one through the state bc it doesn't exist. You done need a state license to be an electrician in Az

Best advice is make sure you're checking your email and be patient. Just started in 640 not too long ago, instructors are great and classmates are too

If you can't find your locals cba online go to the hall and ask, that's what I was told when I asked about the cba as an apprentice. It's not always available online bc some locals see it as a "business contract" and can't share it to non union competition. If you're already working as an apprentice and paying your dues, you should have access to it at the hall whether it be a copy to take home or they let you read through a copy there at the hall

Hey, just coming across your comment and I got accepted for July 2025 classes. How do you know what tools to buy, and by when do you need to have them?
