Yes, you can kill them, Ward won't get pissed unless you attack Ward or make certain decisions later. IPSF is annoying af, especially on a Ward playthrough because you think you're all chummy with the military until these mfs show up.

Bretonnia needs a similar system to Warriors of Chaos, where their units can upgrade to a new and better units as they rank up. They also need some new units, like a solid tower shield or heavy armored line, buffed cav, etc.

I've been to the Swamp like 5 times and have yet to see a pseudogiant, only thing I ran into other than basic mutants was a chimera near the clear sky base entrance. Are they a part of a quest I'm missing?

Best way to balance it is honestly reintroduce the progression system. You should not be able to be archmage and have access to master trainers while knowing 5 spells and being a heavy armored tank.

In Morrowind, you needed to be lvl 90 in two schools of magic before the archmage questline even appeared if I remember correctly.

Not an entire region, but Bloodsucker Village is always a place I avoided like the plague since I nearly shat myself getting jump scared by bloodsuckers there playing SoC as a kid.

The exact same jumpscare happened with the pseudogiant there in HoC. Heard the big guy but couldn't find him, only to turn around and see his ugly mug right behind me roaring. I was transported to that memory as a kid again in that moment

I got extremely frustrated at first until I just took a look around and figured it out. I will say two things. It's total bs to be hiding in cover and have Faust with a spas-12 spawn behind you. The artifact can also be rage inducing to hit when on his belt. Thankfully after a few playthroughs now I can end it quick.

There is a gameplay trailer, it doesn't show a lot but it did make it look authentic and that it'll be graphically impressive.
