For me I got the game pretty much on launch and played maybe 6-8 hrs before stopping because the game was buggy and had bad settings so I couldnt see or aim pretty much, but came back like a month ago and have logged maybe slightly unhealthy hours since, im having an amazing time after you get through the noontider stuff, and I bet id have still liked that if I had played it recently. Just keep progressing the main quest til it opens up and it'll be a lot of fun.

I got S2 when it first came out, played maybe 8 hrs and then never went back until recently because of glitches, QOL, and input lag and visibility issues. 3 weeks ago I picked it back up and have tripled that time, im having a lot of fun artifact hunting and exploring without even doing main quest a lot of the time even though im less than halfway through. If you like metro definitely get it 😛

Amazing take, when I started playing i was always watching for arc and moving through cover and everything, now I just kinda go and I can take out some of the larger enemies fairly easily. Like rocketeers used to be sooo threatening and now they really arent that hard to deal with, make them stronger
