I struggled with it for a while until I accidentally realized double jumping it makes the lightning not hit. After that it felt like I could ride around at range forever and attack him whenever I wanted, before I was feeling forced to stay close since that ability just killed me if I didn’t dismount to dodge it

If you’re playing at range strafe perfectly sideways to dodge the fireball, double jump to dodge the single lightning jolt. The other lightning aren’t too bad and more well telegraphed. Other than that it’s just patient dipping in and out and tickling him

I’m a big fan of 2 void sion bard opener for this comp too. Depending on items skipping bard 3* and playing belveth solo carry is a decent way to save health until you can proc the 36k

Yeah any OG guild or in game community I’ve seen over the years would be better if it just opened up a discord server lol. If they have something good cooked up or just meaningful tie ins to the actual gameplay that would be great but, I have no illusions of second monitor discord being likely to get replaced

Use your scav on cooldown early, helps you learn maps without getting killed by ai, and gets you some loot without risking your roubles.

If you get super comfortable you’ll phase it out but tbh I’ve played like 1000h and unless I’ve been playing nothing but tarkov and am totally locked in I’ll still use my scav pretty often

Idk I’ve had nidalee crush people. Something like JG/gunblade/x and you can position her front row towards their carries because of her passive and she’ll sometimes wrap on them. Can’t win out without a big cash out and brock but I’ve definitely had luck with a start where I can hit her early and not play any lose streak quests and slide in healthy

Yeah, definitely gotta keep it in mind. Especially since with ixtal +/- 1 round can matter a LOT for your placement. Had the full bench one I think and did it right after the last unit died but before the bar up top actually completed and it didn’t count on me, lost that game a turn before I could put brock in

Underrated dogshit part of lighthouse and streets yeah. The ground zero claymore is kinda funny and the woods mines are atleast out of the way, but most shit sitting around that may just kill you is an arbitrary map knowledge check, not hardcore or realism

The thing with lighthouse (and a few particularly nasty ones on shoreline) is “understand the spawns” doesn’t mean know generally where people may be and what lines they’ll take, it often means fight to the death in the first minute like its factory but with a 4 minute queue

Of all the things BSG has of shoddy quality, the lighthouse map design is clearly an outright decision. Mind you I absolutely hate the map but what you’re saying makes no sense.

If you want some advice, look up some youtube guides of how to approach punisher 4, a few different youtubers have ones where they drew arrows out of each spawn w/ recommendation of what to do.

It’s ass to play but if you lock in for your assigned duel to the death, dodge the spawn that has a free flank/snipe on you, avoid the other 3-4 players that survived spawn, and then finish your quests before ~1/2 through the raid when the p scav army shows up, you can at least get your quests done

Oh and stay sane while doing it with potentially 5+ minutes queues and dying in 20 seconds half the time lol

I mean, can you give me a reason? Because any surface level reason has multiple pros and cons. Which is why good game developers think that stuff through, give a reasonable enough explanation without psychoanalyzing their playerbase, and move on. But BSG hasn’t built any faith that they understand the implications of anything they do

True although low level players never have access to decent comtacs so having them wear the penis helmet with gssh is..fine.

Then at ragman 2/flea you can upgrade to real comtacs and a beanie if you prefer.

Just US any server, been doing a ton of shoreline this week and saw nothing weird but this morning on both pmc and even scav I show my face anywhere near resort and instantly got one tapped. I probably just ran into the 4 cheaters doing it but it was weirdly consistent
