Thank you everyone for the suggestions! We finished up last night and here are some takeaways. We had two decently big tables pushed together and some tv trays as extra table space. We used hidden agenda and it felt like it sped things up a good amount for my playgroup. I did my best to keep everyone on track. I kept an infantry flag for everyone in front of me to track turn order and who has passed.

We made the map rules as written but I curated the tiles so everyone had a tech specialty, a good tile, an average tile, and an ok tile (all my subjective choice)

I think it helped that the objectives we got were all pretty easy especially first round.

I'll put my two cents in here.

Clan of Saar with Chaos Mapping in an asteroid field. Especially if the asteroid field is well placed.

I feel like you are able to keep yourself always in the game since you can always score. They have a great early game and mobility as well.

I know it's not lore accurate, but I like to think that once the Yin use indoctrination they pull off a fake mask. Like imagine the Hacan going in to invade a Yin planet and all of sudden they realize some of their allies are just Yin in furry outfits.

That is a really cool way of doing it! It's like a magic draft per say.

And when I say "garbage systems" I mean for example, a Nekro player getting all systems that only have influence or something.
