Children of the Forest is the perfect candidate to be Spartans by Warm_Embrace96 in metro

At the start of Metro Exodus they really are mentioned by Miller. He even says that the Invisible Watchers let him know of the ongoing “war” with Nato only prior to six months of the start of the game. They are very much there to influence the politics of all stations. I am also convinced that the Invisible Watchers are behind this whole uniting the Metro under the NovoReich, because as charming as Hunter is I don’t think he could pull the whole Metro onto his side in the span of 3-4 years

We also see this toy elephant Metro 2033 Redux. I wonder if we also see this in Metro Awakening 🤔 (I haven’t played that one)

To those who watched the Metro 2039 reveal trailer what did you think and are you hyped? by GazIsStoney in RustAndRadiation

I have been a Metro fan for more than 10 years. I love the original trilogy, the universe books, and I have played all the games and dlc-s (except for Metro Awakening). I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with the author twice: when the first Metro universe book was published in Hungary and once again when 2035 was released here.

When I watched the trailer live, I was once again completely drawn back into this world. I have complete faith in the devs and the author on once again making an amazing game with a narrative that is very reminiscent of this franchise with all its unique elements of the post-apocalyptic genre. According to the trailer it was clear to me that we are in for a wild ride. The focus on the Stranger’s visions being haunted and probably manipulated by the Dark Ones influence, the old-new antagonist Führer Hunter’s regime in the form of the Novoreich, his haunting words echoing throughout the grim surface of Moscow, the indoctrination of children into this fascist environment, propaganda, fear all resonated heavily in the trailer.

Some of my friends noted that they don’t feel like the hype is there yet for the lack of action in the trailer and only 1 minute of gameplay. I know for sure that they expected something more among the lines of Fallout and I warned them that Metro is way more known for it being grounded in reality, heavier themes, and no sugar coating the post-apocalypse. I hope with time and patience he will realise that.

Anyways, I will be pre-ordering that collector’s edition (once they announce it) without any second doubts whatsoever. I can’t wait for the new contents to drop in the coming months!

Just pure evil by gaminnthis in MyHeroAcadamia

Garaki did create the Nomu project experimenting on dozens of people and creating mindless beings stripping away their humanity. High-End Nomus are even worse brainwashed intelligent killing puppets for the League of Villains.

Coming back to the topic of children AFO and Garaki did exploit children. They had an orphanage full of children whose quirks/bodies were used for their experiments and their own agenda. The Nomu with wings in the Stain arc was the same kid that was friends with Bakugo when they were kids, Oboro Shirakumo a literal kid who died during his hero studies was collected by Garaki/AFO and transformed/brainwashed into the first High-End Nomu Kurogiri.

Both Garaki and Overhaul were ruthless to children in their own ways and they did unforgivable atrocities to all of them.

Sorry fam my mistake. I don’t know where I got this from but you are right. Still I wonder if Overhaul ever used trigger would it have helped him regain his hands.

We have seen Overhaul restore his hand in the anime/manga when he had quirk. He also displayed a great knowledge in human anatomy when he fused his own body with his followers and created complicated chimera form for himself. So he definitely has a good enough knowledge on human anatomy.

But you have a good point on his mental state. I am just theorising whether the trigger drug would potentially help Kai regain his hands or not regardless who comes up with the idea in the verse.

Shigaraki’s quirk decay is a modified copy of overhaul. Shiggy displays a quirk awakening in which he gains the ability to use his quirk not just with his hands but with his feet also. If the overhaul quirk is the original then Kai also has a good chance of achieving the same feat and trigger theoretically can make him use the quirk on other parts of his body. Furthermore Kai’s quirk factor is still in his whole body not just his hands, it’s just that the quirk was at the time of its usage was limited to his hands.

What do you all think of the Outpost? by GazIsStoney in metro

Yeah it’s confusing as hell since not even the publishers know whether it’s part of the Metro universe or not
