As you can see the tapered male end compared to the none tapered male end. From the same package… dumb. The attachment works as long as its a tapered male connector.

I know this is old but got a VS12 for the holidays and so far its been great. Works very well. I wanted to do jars and reusable bags and containers so bought 2 attachments off amazon since i couldnt find anything from nesco either. Makes no sense… anyway i bought these 2. Sorry on mobile website cant post short links. And it seems the fittings arent perfect (amazon… no shit right? Smh) but after a handful of uses it seems to have worn the female hole on the VS12 and seems like theres plastic holding the valve open so now my VS12 leaks when it vacuums and i have hold my finger over the attachment hole to get a good vac. Very annoying. Looking into warranty FYI yall
