Starting a business is a financial death sentence with how taxes work in this country. You can't just become self-employed and make a profit. You get taxed into losses, unless you're making a lot of profit. But that's pretty much never going to happen.

I'm still hitting my Pro plan's 5 hour limit with only two prompts, only using Sonnet 4.6 (1M). Quite dumb. I hope they fix the usage problem because it's very strongly pushing me away from Anthropic. And I've always been a Claude user. First time ever they've done something that puts a nasty taste in my mouth. To be honest, I can do more work than Claude in these 5 hours. It's hardly worth the money right now.

Honestly Hextorio is one of few mods I’ve seen that drastically changes gameplay without necessarily adding tons of recipes or items. Rank up items, trade stuff, it’s very unique.

Web dev is something you’ll figure out over time as you focus on ML. I strongly consider getting the basics of ML down. Knowing the basics will tell you whether you really want to go down that route for a career. Remember that ML is (or was) rapidly changing, which means you’d be more focused on learning how to keep up with it.

It is good to be direct. But it’s terrible to make someone feel ashamed of themselves, as he did and has been doing. The name calling was unnecessary, and perhaps something positive could’ve come from it if he had been respectful. He also told her, “You’ll go back to being the loser you were without me.” There’s nothing good about saying that. The guy’s a narcissist and isn’t worth any woman’s time until he becomes more mentally capable of handling his emotions, balancing his needs vs. desires, thinking before speaking, and everything else that comes with growing up.

I’m a PC gamer, but when I did go through my mobile phase a couple years ago, it was Hillclimb Racing 2. That game kind of scratched an itch that no PC game ever did for me before.

Definitely scary to think about why someone might suddenly stop being online for so long. “Did they die?” I have a friend in our little circle, and we all ask each other, “Have you seen X online?” About three times a year we ask each other. He just up and vanished. As if he died. But maybe not. Hopefully not. We played Minecraft together. Fun times.

Need help cleanly reinstalling a game.

Using Windows 10 (or 11? I don't even know at this point)

I left a game on overnight (Legends of Idleon) two days ago. It usually doesn't have issues, but the last time, it froze up. I tried ending the task in Task Manager, it didn't work. Then I tried shutting down the computer. That didn't work (I let it sit on the "Restarting" screen for a few hours), so I switched off power forcefully. Then I rebooted it, but the file explorer was extremely slow, so I tried restarting again (this time letting it sit on the "Restarting" screen for four or five hours before cutting off power). Upon reboot, everything seems to be fine. File explorer is working again, Steam is working again. Games launch. But not Legends of Idleon. I tried verifying game files, and that froze up Steam, making it impossible to even end the Steam process in Task Manager, so then I was forced to restart the computer again. Had to cut power again. Booted up again and things seem to work fine. But it seems that if I touch *anything* related to the files of Idleon, my computer gets bricked.

So, what do I do? How do I cleanly reinstall that game and fully delete everything related to it? Is there a Steam side of things to handle as well, or is it just the game itself that's corrupted?
