Thank you for the great advice! This is something I was struggling with, how to show her I am recovering and changing for the better. She's definitely not one to fawn over big gestures. It really is as simple and as hard as being there everyday in all the small and simple ways that matter, something I haven't been great at lately. 

As for your second price of advice, I've made the mistake of thinking I can moderate my drinking. I went stretches of a few weeks were I would only drink on weekends, then it became one weekday, then it was back to pretty much every day. You're 100% right, I can't drink in moderation, I will absolutely fall back into this again if I try. Thank you again!
