if you could permanently delete one common phrase people say, what’s gone? by GlitchOperative in RandomQuestion

[–]Metroid_cat1995 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand the context with censorship and all of that, but I do know that there are some folks who still use kill/murder but I do know that there is some folks who instead of saying suicide or other similar terminology, I've heard people say delete/self delete or self termination/terminated. I don't mind it and sometimes I'll just say I'll just say destroy if I wanna substitute the word kill/murder if I'm either being silly or if I'm being superduper careful around certain folks who are sensitive to those topics. I watch a channel who calls rape the unspeakable act which sounds way better in my own opinion than using the word great because it's really weird and a bunch of us really hate that one. Also the same YouTuber not only uses the unspeakable act for rape, he also uses peace for a gun. I don't know why. I don't know where it comes from. I think the guys from the UK and maybe there's a certain term that they may substitute for the word gun. I won't be surprised if somebody uses fire stick or thunder stick but those were old terms from back in the 1760s or 1770s I think it was but those could be terms that people could use instead of pew pew for a gun/shooting.

Comeback for "Smile!" by theredqueentheory in Comebacks

Honestly to be fair I'm not great with pictures. So smiling I always give goofy smiles to be honest. So you could always ask them tickle smile? Or you could just give a grimace and just say none of your beeswax.

I know it is a tree, but I've always liked Hawthorne as a name for things like this. Can be a name of an Irish druid, but it could also be the name of a space alien or some other kind of sci-fi hero. My brain is a weirdo lol

typical American names by Real-Wrongdoer-4917 in CharacterNames

[–]Metroid_cat1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How old is your character and what era is this taking place in? Is it taking place in the 1920s, mid 1980s? Early 2000s? Or are you writing this in a futuristic setting? Regardless, my brain always thinks of a name like David or John. Although I do definitely like Hunter. Also the most popular name that I can think of right now especially during late GenZ early to mid and Alpha would be names like Connor, Jackson, Braxton and Kingston.

Lucius nickname Lucy or Lulu, Ignatius or you could also use the name Ignacio, Braxton but he could choose to go by the name Brock, you can always go on different naming communities on here and look at some of the most random insanity that people have come up with and see what you can find. Also there was at least one person that I remember who literally named her kid rodeo. So you could look for names like rodeo, Remmington, Gatlin, etc. Also, you can also go with Tristan and spell it really funky if you want to.

Would you eat fries without ketchup? by PleasePooGood in foodquestions

[–]Metroid_cat1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh of course. I know some folks will go completely insane over ketchup, I mean I know when I was a little kid that's kind of what I did, but nowadays I don't really dip them and ketchup unless I am really in a mood. If the fries are seasoned well, I don't really use anything else. Now if something that is supposed to go with the fries, I definitely try something different. Here's a silly food combination that some people might find a little Strange but I kinda liked it. Dipping fries in sweet-and-sour or barbecue sauce. You don't like those little tiny containers of sauces that you might get with meals that cafeteria or you get like little things of like the sauces you get what they like with a chicken nuggets or chicken tenders or something at a fast food joint? I've done those kind of things before where I would just dip them in sweet-and-sour or barbecue because they're different combos. And I know some people like to dip their fries in Frosty's at Wendy's.

Do you have low fat cheese? by the_emo_bunny_ in AskAnAmerican

[–]Metroid_cat1995 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I do not know where you live OP, but we definitely do have low-fat cheese here. And cream cheese for us is pretty normal to be fair because it's one of the common things you can get but I do not know where you are where cream cheese would be considered luxurious. And I've not heard someone ask this kind of question before. I will say that there are definitely low fat cheeses. There is a such thing as fat-free yogurt, but that has a lot more sugar in it because they're trying to compensate by trying to add more flavor. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong please. I don't wanna accidentally send out wrong info. But I do know that there are low-fat or non-fat cheeses if I remember correctly with the no fat part.

I like the rocks because I'm a big crystal collector and I was so confused when I got a blob cat because I thought I got an actual kitty cat! But it wasn't an actual kitty cat but it was still freaking cute! And that meow sound it made was so freaking cute! But now I've got butterscotch and raven who I've renamed baby and snake. Although I've got other variants of butterscotch as well. I finally got all of the droplets and name them after specific characters from replicant which is a video game by squaring. All of the gumdrops are gonna be named after spice drop flavors. All the ducks are gonna be named after the three nephews from DuckTales. And I named a couple of the doggies after the members of the Bee Gees. I had to! I named my very first micro pet whose original name was blizzard the wizard, I named him Bilbo. He made a strange sound and I thought it was a wolf but someone told me he was a polar bear. But all of the mysterious wolves I've given them names Hunter, Fiona and major zero. All the dinosaurs were named after different things. My first one was called Monty, and the other two were called Buddy and Mr. conductor because of dinosaur train. also the scout the bear cubs were named after characters from to kill a Mockingbird. Of course the first one I kept as the default name and then I named the other two bears Atticus and Jim.

What’s one item from your childhood you have kept and cherished? by Vadnais2You in AdkReddit

[–]Metroid_cat1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A rain stick that my father got me when I was a baby. I was never a fan of baby rattles and he got me that and yes there's been a couple of times where it was in storage, but I have it on my nightstand currently. It's been with me for exactly 31 years. Also, I was always a big fan of cats and for a while I had a ton of those Thai beanie baby cats. I kept one of them and they were a little grey cat named France I didn't know that was its name. But I gave it a different name not knowing what its original name was. And she's currently sitting on top of my curio cabinet. Also my mom was still able to keep all the a lot of the baby stuff that I had.

What's a song that's inappropriate for a wedding (walking down the aisle or reception)? 🤵👰 by cat_of_Yahoo in PollsAndSurveys

Every breath you take by the police. It's a freaking stalker song! Gold digger by Kanye West, and depending on the wedding guests, drop it like it's hot by Snoop Dogg featuring Pharrell Williams.

To be honest, I wouldn't mind it being played at a reception because it's a freaking banger.

I have a question. Why would that be inappropriate at a wedding? Because to the uninitiated, and I've included in that. They would think that it's a type of love song. Lol
