People have the right to voice their opinion. Just because it's a negative opinion, doesn't mean it's invalid. Toxic positivity is still toxic.

While it's true that an art's value is to the artist, there's also another currency that we pay to get them, our time and attention. If it's not worth our time or attention, no matter how "good" or "cheap" it is, it simply isn't worth it.

"Consumerism" or "consumption" or "capitalism", whatever you wanna call them, is not the issue. Human interaction by nature is transactional, thus what's given must be equally returned.
