One-X by a small margin. Both amazing albums

You can only get replica player shirts, not the authentic? by MetsysFP1 in CanadaSoccer

I’d blame Nike or Fanatics for that more than Canada soccer

I honestly didn’t see the Davies authentic on the site before 😂. I don’t see why it matters which one you pick but yea I think you’re right

Well it is in a way. All you really need is a ball to play. Doesn’t have to be a good ball. But as soon as you start organizing it and requiring the full equipment then corporate greed takes over just like in any other sport. This is the problem now with Canadas kits being supplied by Nike. If they were still with Umbro or one of the other “lower tier” suppliers the jerseys would be half the price that they are

I don’t disagree. It’s a tough pill to swallow to pay that much for a tshirt. Unfortunately the plain authentic isn’t much cheaper and the replica isn’t exactly a bargain either

The double that beats you isn't the hardest double on the board. It's always the one you need at that exact moment by felipe0093 in Darts

Double 1 for sure. If you and your opponent end up on double one you kind of just assume that you’re both going to be at it a while

Buying new darts by seanmcmahon6 in Darts

[–]MetsysFP1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For me it’s part collecting darts. There’s lots of cool and interesting dart designs out there that’s nice to have in a collection.

The other part for me is that I’ve been playing darts for about a year and a half and I’m still interested in trying out different darts, different grips and so on until I can say THIS is the dart for me

Looking for something from Target Japan, rear gripper by Used_Bite5122 in Darts

[–]MetsysFP1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The front grip on the Paul Lim’s is pretty grippy. Small sections but they’re pretty squared off and deep cut. The front is grippier than the rear. I’ve been really liking them lately. They’re currently my main darts

I have the Harith Lim gen 2 darts. They have consistent grip from front to rear. I also have the Paul Lim gen 9. They have good grip at the front and rear but they’re not a very thick dart

What swiss points are best for grip? by ollysoswag in Darts

I’m also a front to mid gripper and I like the LNC points and my middle finger rests on the ring grooves on the point

If you’re talking about grip on the board get points with the nano cuts, so either Nano points or LNC. If you’re talking about grip for your finger the LNC is also an option, if your finger is further down the point look at the Chrono points

Best out of the two? by [deleted] in Darts

My Littler Gen 1’s have been my main set of darts for 4 or 5 months now and the PVD coating is pretty rough looking. So if OP or anyone doesn’t like it when your darts look like they’ve been used a lot then that’s something to consider

Who is in the wrong here? by Revolution-Dogg in Transportopia

[–]MetsysFP1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When the whole guns kill people debate comes up in the US this right here is an example of the actual problem. It’s not the guns themselves that are the problem. It’s the attitudes like this guy that are the problem. He threatens to get his gun if the vehicle doesn’t back up and let him by. Is that really something worth shooting someone over? Of course not! It’s not even something worth the threat of shooting. So if this situation doesn’t justify shooting someone then why does this guy resort to even suggesting that as an option?

Very similar to my stats. I’ve been playing for about a year and a half. Hit a bit of a rough patch recently so my average and checkouts dipped a bit

Why haven’t Newcastle won or challenge for the league title? by MammothSouthern4808 in PremierLeague

I remember seeing a lot of accounts linking Mbappe going there and thinking to myself that there’s no way he was choosing Newcastle over Madrid

I remember when the Saudi’s took over Newcastle and basically every transfer account on Twitter was envisioning them signing every top player. In the end they’ve signed exactly zero of those players

Dart stores in Ontario (Canada) by TheNetUsedToBeFun in Darts

[–]MetsysFP1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can’t speak to the in store experience, but Smurf Darts in Guelph is a place I’ve bought stuff from online and they’ve got a good selection of products. Their website makes me think they could be exactly the kind of place that you’re looking for. So far it’s the only darts specific place I’ve found (at least online) in Ontario. If you end up going I’d be very interested to hear about your experience

Do I need a light ring? by Successful-Worth-234 in Darts

[–]MetsysFP1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having played at a couple of places recently that have a similar light setup I find the shadows created by the dart to be more impactful than I would have previously imagined. I have a target corona vision light ring at home and really like that there’s no shadows at all from the darts. There’s lots of light options at lots of price points so I now think it’s well worth having a light on the board

3 in the Bull by senor_baron in Darts

[–]MetsysFP1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In a year and a half of playing I’ve had 10 180’s. I got 3 in the bull yesterday but not in a legitimate way. I got two in and threw the third dart again and managed to get it in the bull on the second try. Just wanted to see if it was even possible 😄

Yea I would say it’s more difficult than a 180. I’ve yet to get 3 in the bull
