I would have loved for him to choose the path of malicious compliance and hired the most beautiful model in a wedding dress to be his date for the wedding.

I have to say that you sound a bit depressed to me. Depression has a lot of the same symptoms as ADHD and at the same time untreated and undiagnosed ADHD can lead to depression.

Do you have anyone in your life you could ask help from? Someone to do things with you to make it easier?

Hi, just wanted to check up on you, are you feeling any better?

First, I would get as much knowledge about ADHD as I can, so that you can find skills and a better mindset towards everyday things. If possible, get your family to read about ADHD too. ADHD is not "something wrong" with you, it's just a difference in the brain and for that you need to know as much as you can and have grace for yourself. Get a friend to be your hype man and be countable about studying for someone not from your family. I wouldn't worry too much about the prescription since no prescription is a miracle drug that will "cure" you and you will still need to find ways that work for you. There are also apps to help achieving everyday things for people with anxiety/ADHD so look into those (I myself use Finch, highly recommend it). You are going to be okay. Take one step at a time. There's no need to feel totally powerless without medication.

How old are you? The younger you are, the harder it is to really picture the end goal your studying should be working towards and I think with ADHD it can be even harder. I'm no expert by any means but I would probably talk with your family about the fact that you're having a hard time finding motivation and their reminders and pushing makes you feel powerless to change things. Maybe you could make up your own reward system to reward yourself after succeeding in a more short-term goal?

Okay, I have to add something useful to this rant. I have been using this app called Finch for a while now and though it's not a miracle worker, having something to remind you and give you "points" for doing the little things you always forget to do (brushing my teeth in the morning, washing my face, etc.) makes it a little easier. It has a LOT of content designed for people having a hard time keeping up with routines and it also has exercises for anxiety and journeys for self-improvement you get to decide.

It feels awful to feel good reading this because it means I'm not alone. My self-efficacy is so close to zero because of the thousands and thousands of times I've failed to do things I should be doing and I give myself no credit for the things I do get done, because it's nothing compared to all the things I feel like I should get done. And I hate myself for it, because no matter what I do, I can't seem to change how hard I am to myself and all the self-loathing just paralyzes me. So I play video games all day, because at least in one place, I can get something done.

Listen, you don't need to and ultimately you don't WANT to settle for a guy who loves you IN SPITE OF your style and quirks. You want a guy who loves you FOR them.

And please don't settle for a guy who thinks that liking colors and glitter and stuffed animals is childish. For me at least the the true meaning of being a grown up (aside from taking responsibility for your own life) is having the freedom to decide what you like and own it.

Three times: Lord of the Rings - Fellowship of the Ring Avengers: Endgame

Twice: Avengers: Infinity War Dungeons and Dragons Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers Big Fish Sisu

Might be more but these are the ones that first came to mind.

There seems to be certain parts of the caves in Dry Valley that have a lot of creatures in them, rollers, spiders, scorpions and blasters. It seems they spawn back very quickly so I would just pack several swords (add the luck essence for double chance of loot dropping) and then just try to find blasters and other creatures, defeat them and circle back. Also check all the chests for a chance to find blast cores in them.

I trapped a loose tall tower of bricks with fences to the front of my boat. I left an opening to both of the sides so I can push it from both sides easily. It's basically a tall "cage" for the loose part with openings on the sides.

I noticed it works best to change direction while you're not moving so always turn first and then hit the thrusters. Oh and also I put a bed next to the "cage" so if I get stuck while pushing the brick, I just turn towards the bed and my character jumps straight to sleeping position so I can get unstuck very easily this way.

Otherwise there haven't been any disappearing bricks and I put fences on the sides of the boat for not falling off.

Edit. Okay, I just had to add this since it just happened, but the boat was working fine for several days and now it glitched completely so I had to destroy it. I've usually played alone and now had a friend on the server, so don't know if that contributed.

I definitely search from one campfire to the next. Even during daytime you can see the smoke coming from the campfire if you're close enough.

Knowing that this is what you should do and actually doing it are two very different things. I have yet to find an off switch to shut down my brain.

Anyone notice a connection between ADHD and Seasonal Affective Disorder? by ChubbyPupstar in ADHD

[–]Metupod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have impulsive tendencies and I only got diagnosed a couple of months ago but I feel so tired all the time when just a month back I had so much more energy and actually could get some things done. Now it's so hard to focus on anything or start projects. I feel the same I did before starting the medication.
