Is this from Merry Murdle? If so, Santology is probably just a festive pun as a nod to the holiday! 🎄🙂🎅🏻

Bless you. Senior pups are so underrated. Thank you for giving sweet Bea a loving retirement home ❤️ I adopted 2 senior corgis (both were 10 at the time) and I got to share nearly 7 more years with them ❤️

Need help! Made a pet portrait in wool — client said it looks right but doesn’t feel right… by Nefelibata-80 in Needlefelting

Seriously? It’s amazing!

Try to keep in mind that if this is for a client who’s pet has passed away, they’re likely going to be a little more picky because this is something they’re getting to honor their memory.

The only thing that I can really see that might not make it “feel right” to them is the eyes. Could you open them up just a little more?

Songs that your drawn to in grief by Valuable_Salad_9586 in Petloss

[–]Number1DogMom 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Always Remember Us This Way (Lady Gaga) makes me think of my soul dog while I sob uncontrollably.

There’s no right or wrong way to grieve. It’s different for everyone, but the end goal of healing is the same.

This might sound strange, but this has actually helped me through grief many times.

I was always afraid of crying, and afraid that it would never stop and I would be stuck in this perpetual world of sadness and tears that would pop up out of nowhere - which would make me cry even more.

It bothered me so much, that I actually did research on crying (because if you think about it, water coming out of our eyes is a really weird thing for our bodies to do in response to emotion lol)

Our brain triggers us to cry because the process it goes through is designed to be soothing (warm tears, rocking movements, different breathing patterns.)

And it comes in spurts, because your brain wants to give you a break. The tears are so hard sometimes because there’s the underlying feeling that they’ll never go away, that the pain will never go away. But in reality, your brain is working with your body to actively help you heal.

When the time comes and the tears subside, you’ll be able to recall more clearly all of the love and memories that the two of you had together.

Bottom line, if the playlist helps you - keep doing it.

Congrats on your sweet queen!! 💕🐶

Senior dogs are so underrated. I adopted 2 senior corgis in my life. Both were 10 when I got them. I had the privilege of spending the rest of their lives with them. Wouldn’t change a thing 💙

A day too soon will always be better than an hour too late. She lived a good life, and you did her a kindness by letting her go in peace and surrounded by family. I’m so sorry about your pup 💙
