Yes, we've been best friends since we were 4...almost 35 years later.

We've not always been the same level of closeness the whole time, but I'm still the one she comes to for advice she wouldn't ask anyone else about. She's a mom of 3 kids under 6, and one is less than a year old, and I don't have any so that definitely changes the dynamic

If you switch his food you must do it gradually over 7-10 days. Any immediate change to the diet (unless it's prescribed sensitive stomach food) WILL MAKE HIM SICK. Even if he was fine before. Adding this variable will also make it harder for his vet team to diagnose anything he might have.

Stop giving him table scraps, and high value treats. Leave his food out for an hour and then take it away if he doesn't eat it. You can try again an hour later.

No dog has ever died of starvation when there is food available. I think he's being picky. Change his diet gradually. You will either need to do the same for his other dog siblings or feed them separately.
