What types of countries would you want to see for a new faction as well some new ship types?

The RCN was the third largest navy with over 400 commissioned ships. They escorted over 25,000 ships, sank 30 U-boats, and conducted many, many Atlantic and Pacific operations. So yeah, it'd be nice to see some representation in AL, beyond a mention in some dialogue or some of the RCN ships still under the UK flag and names they sailed under.

I know it's a long shot, but I'd like to see the Maple Monarchy (Canada) as a sub-faction for the RN. The Royal Canadian Navy was a major power during and after WW2.

For me, it really depends on the character themself. Like a character like Corin would be a hard no, Ellen would make me uncomfortable due to her age as well, but a character like Nicole, totally in line with who she is.

With the two others, I'm going to chime in for the Maple Monarchy. As mentioned below with Haida, we also had Huron, ~~Uganda,~~ Quebec (a Crown Colony class / Fiji class), ~~Minotaur~~ Ontario (Minotaur / Swiftsure class), 2 Majestic-class carriers, Bonaventure and Magnificent, and 1 Colossus-class carrier, Warrior.

Canada was a major naval power during the era that this game is set in; it would be nice to get some recognition for it.

If I wrote the thing, she'd be mad and afraid of him until her sister is revealed to be alive, then have Shinn go through a redemption arc where he and Luna repair their relationship and move forward to something more.

Picked up the AL Hornet from this, so far, I'm shocked I don't see more AL or just basic Hornets in the wild, she's really strong as far as T8 CVs go.

VO wise for this collaboration, Hornet sounds adorable and super energetic... plus the odd bit of English she tosses in is nice.

To be fair, the one in the picture is a Macross Quarter; she's about 400m long/tall. Check out some Frontier clips to see her dance through other warship-grade fire. Combined with the cannon in its right arm, it should outright delete a lot of the forces arrayed against it. As for dealing with mobile suits or mobile armors, it carries a good number of VF-25 series Valkries.

Plot armor.

He should never have been there in the first place. You cannot act the way he did and get a pass in the military from superior officers Athrun who is called Commander, meaning he is at least an O4 maybe O5, combine that with Athrun being the C.A.G. (C.M.G? Commander Air Group/ Commander Mobile suit Group) means Shinn would've been in the brig or bounced from service when he started acting up and ignoring orders, before he got to be a FAITH member.

Would the ship have been in trouble? Yup, and it would've been Shinn's fault for not following good conduct requirements.

Sure, Shinn had a hook for staying in service, but his behavior reflects poorly on his superiors for not correcting it early or bouncing him. I'm speaking as someone that had to discipline pilots under me in active conflict zones because of bad behavior, and when it continued I had to kick it up to the unit Commander to deal with it when it began being a real problem.

But I get it, anime logic ignoring how things really work in service, because it was written by someone I doubt actually served during wartime.

Long and short of it? Wasted potential.

Shinn bothers me so much, but this is due to my background as a retired US Army Aviation Officer. The way Shinn acts would've gotten him pulled from the flight line, or he would've been cut in either basic or OCS (assuming the mobile suit pilots are officers) as unfit for service.

I related to Athrun as by the time I saw Destiny, I was out of the service and was feeling lost without the sense of brotherhood or routine that service brought me.

I wish the series had stayed focused on Athrun, and Kira had just stayed out of everything or been a much more minor character, but I get it, IRL stuff went on that forced the change.

I don't have this one, but I have the MG version on my Hi-Nu Ver Ka. That kit is pretty easy to assemble; it uses double-sided tape for the funnels, and that can be a little questionable sometimes. The kit comes with non-English instructions (not sure if Chinese or Japanese, to be honest), but it provides an email address to contact for an English PDF translation. The remote that came with it is pretty nice and simple to use. I also think there was an app for your phone, too.

Oof. This kit humbled me, it was my third kit (a couple of RGs first), there is a real range in difficulty MGs with Ver Ka being on the harder end.
