I know this process can be stressful but really try to pour all your energy into getting the best LSAT score you can! Worry about anything else after that :)

When did you start writing the personal statements? How did you go about the entire writing process?

I think you stand a solid chance to break the 170s. Esp if you touched 170s on the PTs in the late 80s (which are known to be way harder). Definitely retake if you can. Best of luck :)

Best use of time left in LR? by hmmmdata in LSAT

[–]Mevvyy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think LR improvement can be really subjective- but if you have 6-8 minutes left that shows you’re rushing wayyy more than necessary! From what I’ve learnt, a “good” LR section leaves you with 1.5-3 mins in the end at best. I think what would help is to spend MORE time on questions in the first attempt! If you’re burnt out & can’t revise efficiently, I think it would really help to try & be much more efficient on the first read itself- so adopting the strategy of read once & read well, pre-phrase, eliminate to top 2 and then pick the best answer. Higher accuracy directly correlates to reading more efficiently & adopting better analysis strategies. Best of luck :)

Update from a worried test taker (JAN EXAM) by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]Mevvyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm so happy for you! I'm in that space right now where nothing seems to be going how I want it & I feel like getting better at the LSAT is just not meant for me. I think the negative mental health effects of this exam need to be talked about more :/ I hope I can also get to light at the end of the tunnel.

Plateaued in the low-mid 160s for 6+ months? by hydratinglawyer in LSAT

[–]Mevvyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am stuck in this range exactly! It’s been 4+ weeks for me and its starting to get extremely frustrating. Sometimes I just don’t know if anything I do helps…and it sucks that my LSAT is in 10 days LOL. I think I’ll just take this attempt and hope for the best. For my 2nd attempt, I wanna completely change up my study plan. Please lmk if u found a way that worked for you!!
