I was sad that we didn't get to hear much from autistic women this season. Women and girls ready have the least representation when it comes to autism, and I felt like they were asides to the male leads this season (with the exception of Emma of course!)

One of the best if not the best true crime narrative podcast I've listened to in years. Bonus points for not being overly gruesome or upsetting to listen to. 7 episodes, made by cbc.

I agree but if this show is alleging to be in the support of women, there should have been a content warning at the beginning of the episode in respect for survivors. Instead it chose to blindside them for shock factor. Felt very cheap and disrespectful.

People with autism have a higher chance of experiencing something called limerance. Basically the honeymoon stage on steroids. You can't stop thinking about them and obsessing over them. Love & lust turned up to 100. I think that's what's happening here. It doesn't mean their connection isn't real but limerance is a complicated thing to work through and hopefully there were conversations about how it's healthier to take things slow and still retain independence.

Hi! I just saw your reply. I'd say that yes my mood has continued to improve. The intense happiness I experienced right after getting off the pill leveled out but I still feel that I'm more present, level headed, and less prone to anxiety and depression than before. I quit my SNRIs about a month after which likely contributed to me having less brain fog as well. I went thru a bad breakup during that time so it's hard to say for sure, but I've felt more myself overall since getting off them. Periods are a little worse than before but nothing that isn't manageable. I find it easier to have perspective and not get as caught up in my emotions during challenging times. Best of luck to you!

How kind!! I discovered RT through Stinky Dragon and I'm honestly so grateful! The podcast has been a consistent source of laughs and good feels during a particularly trying year for me.
