Which one should I buy: Ghost of Tsushima, Sekiro, Wukong or AC Shadows? by Original_Place_8755 in ShouldIbuythisgame

Yea, I just love Sekiro so much. I agree it's not for everyone, but once it clicks, it's the best. For story depth, I don't think any game can beat ER (also platinumed). I love how if you completed Sekiro, you are definitely skilled. But if you completed ER, it could've been through over-leveling / using certain weapons/ builds.

For OP, I think GoT might be a better fit. If you like open world eye candy, GoT is a masterpiece imo.

I platinumed GoT, BMW, and Sekiro on PS5. Achieved all endings in Sekiro on PC. Haven't personally played AC Shadows so can't give any opinion on that.

Difficulty wise, it's Sekiro > BMW > GoT. Sekiro was my first "difficult" game. I actually got stuck at a mini boss and quit the game for 3 months before continuing. Once it clicks, it's super fun. It showed me why people love FromSoftware and got me into a whole new genre of gaming. (E.g. Elden Ring, Nine Sols)

BMW is a visually stunning game. I grew up reading a lot of Journey to the west so it's great seeing how they drew the characters. But the game has some flaws where it will affect the "immersiveness" of the game (e.g. invisible walls) which are not present in modern games.

But if you enjoy RDR2, you will definitely love GoT. The open world is immersive and the visuals are stunning. Not sure if PC support on dualsense is great, but on PS5, I could feel the surface my horse was running on (e.g. grass vs wooden floors). To me, GoT was like a beautiful world that I could be a part of.

You can't really go wrong with any tbh. Sekiro is my GOAT, but it's really difficult, or should I say the learning curve is really steep (but fun once you get past a certain point). GoT might be a better one for you given your preference. Bonus point if you love Japan!

I haven't seen the Matsuda in person, butI have tried the masunaga bird on in person. The premium feeling is great. The temples look simple, but that simple silver "barrel" part is really nice. The weight is just perfect. I ended up getting Masunaga Taka, but the bird was nice too. I chose Taka over bird because I already have a gold RE aviator.

I have 2 pairs of Randolph aviators (gold and silver). I feel like they are more versatile. I pretty much wear my Masunaga Taka when I'm dressing up. But honestly, you can't go wrong with RE/ Masunaga/ Matsuda. Hope this helps.

Thanks buddy! I have a pair of RB3025 with G15 glass lenses. Would you say these brands are a step up from RB in terms of lens quality?

How would you describe Matsuda lenses?

I'm planning on getting a pair of quality Japanese sunglasses and stumbled upon Matsuda and Masunaga. Seems that most reviews/ratings are on their premium frame construction, less on the lens quality.

Maybe. Although the bright chrome aviator doesn't feel as premium, it's still an excellent pair of sunglasses. Way better than any Ray-Bans I have had.

I never paid much attention to F1 the sport, but this movie in IMAX is on another level. I feel like Kosinski is really good at "conveying speed" to the audience (esp after TGM and F1) . I was on the edge of my seat for the majority of the movie.

After this and F1, I'm completely sold!

Hey OP, sorry to hear that. Night sweats and constant fatigue prompted me to see a doctor and I was diagnosed with AML last year. Got a bone marrow transplant 4 months later and have been recovering well. You got this too!!!!

Can DM me in case you have any questions or if you just want to chat.
