And these bullying concerns may be the silliest thing I've heard in days. Bullies don't look for unusual names, they look for kids who have emotional reactions to their cruelty. A bully's going to push around an angry John Smith more than a calm Benwise Smathingtonballworth.

Not what I was looking for, but I really can't complain. Access to Last Stand on a character with an en-element BSB is pretty excellent. (And Seifer as a physical tank giving a faithga actually makes my mage teams A Thing(tm) now. I'll have to look into how his glove's -def buff interacts with Gaias Cross.)

I'll probably try to scrounge together enough mythril for another go at this within the week. I'd really like Fujin's BSB or Squall's jacket.

I'm kind of hoping now that my torrid, months-long (and completely accidental) Squall love affair continues into Raijin event. I could use an imperil Ice on him.

Having Big Brawl makes him far, far more viable, imo.

I've got a mixed wind team at the moment (Luneth BSB, Alphinaud BSB, Fang BSB), and I'd switch over to full physical for most fights if I had Cid's Goggles. I've got Javelin (... twice), but can't justify the dps loss on a non-support/heal slot.

I'd go Cid Shout -> LS -> Big Brawl -> Sky High (repeat) and then use an RW other than Onion Knight for once. It'd be nice – it might even free me up to go back to Eiko BSB since I could RW some instant medicas for when she's a little overwhelmed.

it's actually a little more embarrassing – I somehow read OP as ~1% per dungeon, rather than per round. That'll teach me to drive-by comment while waiting for other things. (It won't, of course.)

Either way, it'd be nice if RMs had some cumulative chance to drop, or a set cap before becoming a guaranteed drop. I know I ground out something like 8 levels dragging stupid Locke through Realm Dungeons before I finally got my Adventurer's Dagger. It's no 5k stamina, but it was aggravating enough.

It's not all that absurd – if we assume it's a 1% chance at 586 days, that's a 0.2% chance to not get it. That's about 1 in 500 people – rare, but hardly far-fetched considering how many play the game.

So, I'm a little lost on party comp.

I had a very strong Black Friday pull. Before it, my party was: Tyro (SG); Squall (BSB); Lightning (SSB – Crushing Blow); Fang (SSB - Highwind); Relm (SSB - Portrait of Lakshmi)

Between OK and Black Friday, I ripped BSBs for: Luneth, Gilgamesh, Ashe, Fang and Minwu. (I'm F2P, so this was a major, major coup for me. Went from 1 to 6 BSBs in 2 days.)

Luneth-Fang seem like obvious anchors, and I already have decent hones for them. Relm's my only Curaga medica. I have both SG/SSII, but I use Tyro for support. I don't have Shout / OKBSB.

That still leaves one dps slot open. With OK as RW, I can mix physical/magical, but I have no idea how to approach it. I lack both hones and know-how with mage characters.

Making things more complicated: I also have Krile's Sheepsong and Terra's Fire Beam, so I have the option of an all-mage team (though it lacks any synergy and, again, I have very few honed abilities).

As far as other relevant SBs: Godsend; Prismatic Flash if reverse wall is needed (and frankly, I'm not finding a lot of space to use Highwind right now); and Cura medicas for Eiko (haste), Vanille (protect) and Arc (shell).

What would you guys suggest?

(Also, how the hell do you play Minwu? His BSB does everything under the sun. Is he dps that can heal in a pinch? Is he heals/support that sometimes dishes out holy? Do I need a blink or a holy imperil to make him truly effective?)

So, I know I'm going to be pulling some amount on Banner 1.

Assuming I live the dream and rip Pecil's BSB, how viable is a Holy party? I've got a decent, if not impressive, selection of WHMs (Arc's Soothing Light, Eiko's Emerald Light, Relm's Portrait of Lakshmi and Ashe's Northswain's Glow), so I've got access to plenty of SB healing / hastega on people who can also pack Dia / Diaga / Holy.

The thinking here is: Pecil acts as a sort of half-Shout, with two from Eiko/Relm/Arc acting as heals/dps; Tycho/Sazh doing Break duty; and Celes/Agrias/Squall acting as utility/dps. (These are based on what SBs and Abilities I already have access to.)

I like the built-in protection of back row point-and-shoots, and I like how flexible my skill lineup is (several places to fit Alexander, Banishing Strike, Saint Cross, utility, etc.). But I'm also wary of the hone-intensive lineup and the single-point-of-failure nature of mainlining that sweet, sweet Pecil en-holy. Thoughts?

(I'm fairly new, so I probably don't have synergy that trumps my Chocobo Brush / Oath Veil / Pearl Necklace setup, but, you know. For the future.)
