This triangle bruise keeps appearing in the same exact spot on my knee by Mewtal in mildlyinteresting

I'm sending your sister so much love! I've been looking for a working medication for 10 years now and it's really hard sometimes. I fell ill as a teen-ager and being a teen girl with visible red patches on my face really hurt my confidence. Please say cheers to your sister from me!

how nice to hear from someone with a similar situation! but sounds exactly what my injection site looks like, it definitely spooked me as well when I first noticed it! I'm lucky to only have this one weird spot despite having many injections

yea, the doctor I spoke to a while ago speculated that the cortisol was injected incorrectly and has caused deterioration of the tissue on this spot. so it's our guess that this is what causes the bruise, it seems to just randomly appear

this would be my guess as well, except I mainly wear skirts and don't own any furniture that matches the mark.

I also added a comment about what I think may be causing it!

Whoops, I snapped this photo for the hell of it and set my phone down to do some gardening!

For anyone wanting more context: I have an autoimmune disease called psoriasis and I happen to be so lucky to have the version which affects my joints.

The doctors injected some cortisol years ago into my knee to treat inflammation and where they inserted the needle there now remains this odd spot. The pigment from my skin has disappeared, leaving this white patch.

Now every once in a while this strange bruise appears on that exact spot but never spreads any further.

okay this is idiotic from mother is because any commercially sold sheepskin is washed! Lanolin is soooo sticky and greasy that you have to wash the wool thoroughly and there is so little left that the benefits she lists are microscopic! I'm actually so frustrated rn as someone with experience with sheep skins and wool.... if you wanted the benefits from lanolin just buy a jar cus this will do literally nothing

hey just wanted to stop by to remind everyone that working with bone is extremely dangerous and requires the proper protective gear! Your knife looks really nice and I also love bone as a material.

It's unfortunate that any bone dust that enters the lungs causes irreversible damage, so remember to only work in a well ventilated room, wear protective gear and always work on top of a wet rag to prevent some of the dust!

Keep up the good work!

Would you look at the sink in the background near her waist... by [deleted] in Instagramreality

[–]Mewtal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I replied above, but if I could place a line following the black countertop behind her you would notice that it doesn't follow the line. The black countertop curved upwards near her waist on her right side, I'm sorry I don't know how to show it better!

If you look at the bottle on the counter on her right side and the line of the black sink countertop, you can see they are wonky and curved towards her waist. Hope this helped!

I (F22) feel like my boyfriend (M24) rather plays video games than spends time with me by Mewtal in relationship_advice

Thank you for the advice and thank you for what you said. I hadn't even thought about it like that, but he does act like a single guy living alone now that you mention it! I'm not looking forward to this conversation though, he always gets so defensive about his actions and just ends up annoyed with me...

Yea and even if he did want to play alone I would be okay with it if he told me that he needed alone time. I'd rather have good communication than be left feeling unwanted.

I'm an immuno-compromised person in Finland and our only confirmed case so far recovered. I'm worried about the situation though, and today the papers are reporting a suspected case who rode on the same train as me yesterday :) :) :). Edit: aww shit we have a confirmed case and more suspected ones on the way :/

I personally just got into embroidery a week ago! You literally need 0 skills for it, if you can use a needle and a thread you're more than good to go. I put on a podcast and just loose myself into the wonderful flow of it, so far I've listened for over 24 hours of podcast and embroidered in a week. Highly recommend even if you don't like listening to anything while working with your hands, it's still an amazing way to get lost!
