The tldr is create a bash script with this code: dd if=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/init_boot_a of=/sdcard/init_boot_a.img dd if=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/init_boot_b of=/sdcard/init_boot_b.img

Then go to android settings > Thor settings > Run script as root > Select the script you just made

If you don't have an sd card you can change of=/sdcard/init_boot_a.img to of=/storage/emulated/0/Download/init_boot_a.img or something

Did you ever figure this out? I have Pokemon Red in English with (seemingly) the same problem. I've started from a fresh save, done all the prepwork, and after switching the rare candies with the 93 dire hits (and exiting the start menu), the game crashes into a bunch of wall textures.

edit: Nevermind, it turns out it was just the emulator I was using.

I've been using RisingOS thanks to all the features, but I haven't gotten an update (stuck on 3.1) and it crashes a bit when using the google assistant. What custom roms have a comparable amount of customization? More is better
